Campus life at Chandigarh University.
Placements: If you're doing B. Tech in ECE from Chandigarh University, then chances of you getting placed are low. Companies do come for ECE, but it's not that much compared to the CSE branch. College does provide companies for internships, but that is also in fewer numbers, so I must say to join CSE instead of ECE.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the ECE course is sufficient; you will gonna get labs, Wi-Fi, and a library in each and every building.
Faculty: Almost every faculty is helpful. They were properly educated, and their way of teaching is also good. But you will gonna come across some bad faculty also; they will gonna show rude behavior, and the way of teaching is so poor. But these types of faculty are less. Semester exams in CU are not that tough; if you know how to write answers to any questions, then you can pass these exams without facing any difficulty.
Other: The best part of Chandigarh University that you will definitely gonna like is the beautiful and lush green campus. They used to organize fests from time to time. If you love to click lots of pics, then CU is the best for doing these.

Faculty members and placements are good. Every student should visit and consider taking admission.
Placements: Around 100% of students got placed. Over 900 companies visit every year. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA-9 LPA. Companies like Google, Microsoft, and Walmart visited for placements. Around 100% of students secured internships from our college in top companies.
Infrastructure: There are a lot of facilities available. Studywise we have different options and sports quotas are available for students having skills in sports. We have many libraries and Wi-Fi facility available in our college. Hostel is good and hostel life is also good. Hostel is very neat and clean.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is different from others. Course curriculum is relevant to others it makes students industry-ready. It also provides books to every student that are helpful on interview grounds. Semester exams are very easy and nobody fails in exams.
Other: I chose this course because I genuinely like it. The best thing about this course is my interest in it. It offers 100% placement opportunities.

Short review of Chandigarh University.
Placements: The placement here is a scam. We were all promised good placements in our fields, but all the roles are for Computer Science students, and we just get to sit in. We are not allowed to get internships from outside the college, and the college provides very few internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are on the 11th floor, and we are not allowed to use any lifts. The Wi-Fi on campus barely works. The food in the hostel is subpar. You will get tired of it after some time and won't be able to consume it any further. In the summers, the hostel is really warm.
Faculty: The curriculum is very theoretical. It doesn't focus on students' practical knowledge. The faculty is just busy finishing the syllabus rather than focusing on teaching the core concepts of the subject. The exams are fairly easy. You just need to read about the topic and should be able to rephrase the answers to make them lengthy.
Other: My university really needs to do something to manage the population of the university. They literally have unlimited seats, so crowding is a big problem here.

I am dissatified because of the faculty members of our college.
Placements: Almost all the students of previous batches were placed. All the companies that visit our college are mass recruiters.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is accessible in all the computer labs. The library is well-equipped with all the books related to the courses.
Faculty: Teachers are not knowledgeable. They teach us through PowerPoint presentations. To pass the exam, you must submit your assignments and lab modules on time. The passing criterion depends upon the topper's mark. It is not good. It leads to lower marks, and students are unable to maintain CGPA.
Other: Events are held on campus. Many celebrities visit our campus for their movie promotions. The campus crowd is huge.

Average placements, amazing college experiences, and many extracurricular activities are here.
Placements: A lot of companies come during the placement drives starting in the third year, but the selection rate is less than 50%. Opportunities will be there, but at the end, it depends on personal skills. The highest package was INR 53 lacs per annum, but it was from the CSE department. In the electronics department, the selection in core companies is very low; on average, less than 10% of students get placed in core electronics companies.
Infrastructure: There are no complaints regarding the infrastructure of the university. It has a good and clean atmosphere and a lot of extracurricular activities. Every day, some completion is going on. I can't tell you about the hostel as I am a day scholar. But as per reviews, the hostel is fine. There are a few who complain about food sometimes.
Faculty: I am doing BE-ECE in the 4th semester. Honestly, the faculty and curriculum for the first year were below average. I didn't like my first year in college. But as we moved to the parent department in two years, things are going well. The labs are good, and the teachers are helpful and available for doubts.
Other: I chose electronics because I had an interest in semiconductors, processors, and computers. And didn't want to opt for CSE just because there were more jobs. A few things could change in my course, including the curriculum for the first year. It was very less related to electronics and made me think about my dilemma. Talking about events and fests, Chandigarh University is famous for its events and fests. One of the best events happens on campus.
