Never come here. Classrooms don't have proper working fans.
Placements: 90% you require without a homestay, if you are from Chandigarh, you have to score 80% to take admission in civil or mechanical. If you have to take the case and ECE, you have to take 90 from the last few years. Civil placement is very low, and the average package is about 4 LPA-5 LPA.
Infrastructure: AC is available Only in teachers' cabins and academic cell. No AC is available in the class. The infrastructure is good, but they clock the gate. We have to walk from the parking to go to the next building, or we have to go to the first floor. The linkage is available, but the lift is not working in one building.
Faculty: Not all faculty are good, but it's okay. Teachers are knowledgeable. The quality of some teachers is average, but some are very nice. Semester exam papers come from Punjab University, and most of the difficulty is in college. It is moderate, like quite not that much, you have to score a minimum of 40 in the exam out of 100.
Other: I chose this course because I didn't have any other option.

Review of CCET Chandigarh in brief.
Placements: About 70% students from CSE and ECE department get placement in 2021. The placement of civil and mechanical is below average. Top recruiting companies are Gemini Solutions, TCS, Godrej, Trade, MPL, Amazon, Infosys, etc. The highest package of the college is 32 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. There are four blocks which are connected to each other. AC classrooms with smart boards are there. We have well maintained labs and library with Wi-Fi facility. Hostel facility is also available for students living outside Chandigarh. Hostel fee is affordable and mess is good. All types of facilities are available in hostel like Wi-Fi, sports equipment, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. The teaching quality of teachers is awesome. The courses offered by college is Bachelor degree in engineering in four different branch i.e. B.E. in civil, mechanical, ECE, and Computer Science. Admission is done on the basis of JEE Mains score through JAC Chandigarh counselling. Passing semester exam is not much tough. There are two seasonal exams for 30 marks each from where best of two is added and one university exam of 50 marks and 20 marks of internal are there which includes attendance and assignments.
Other: The best thing about the courses is that you can prepare for competitive exams. Many extracurricular activities and functions are organized throughout the year.

It is one of the best engineering colleges in Chandigarh.
Placements: The placement ratio of our college is not that good. I did not get placed from this college. Placement drives are conducted here, but they are not in high quantity. Only a few students got placed. The highest salary package offered would go up to 12 LPA. Most of the IT students got placed. Overall, our college is not good at placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite good, and there is no problem with infrastructure. Everything is available on the campus like canteen, sports ground, library and everything. All classrooms have a smartboard. Hostels are good and have good hygiene. The food quality is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly, knowledgeable and highly qualified. The teaching quality in this college is at a very high level because teachers are very friendly and knowledgeable. Due to the smartboard, students enjoy studying in the classroom. Teachers are very helpful.
Other: I got admission into this college through JEE Mains. I have chosen civil engineering as it is my passion. In this course, we can enjoy site seeing, which is the best part of this course. There is free Wi-Fi in our college, so there are no connectivity issues. Events and fests are top-notch. Sometimes, Punjabi singers and Bollywood singers also come to entertain us.

You can have a good college life at the hostel but not too enjoyable at the college.
Placements: Basically there is placement for CSE and ECE branches but there is no placement for the CIVIL branch. The highest salary offered was 12 Lacs but that too was to the CSE branch. The average salary packages goes over 3 Lacs. There are no companies that come to CCET for the placements for CIVIL branch.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good. The infrastructure is good but needs some improvement. It should be properly maintained. There are CCTV's and Wi-Fi facilities at the hostel. The chemistry lab in the college doesn't have enough chemicals and apparatus. The quality of food in the mess is Okay. There is a playground for the students.
Faculty: The faulty is good. But some teachers are just okay. The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. But as I mentioned earlier some teachers are not that much capable. According to the scenario, the civil branch has many governments jobs available. Yes, it can contribute to a great extent.

Overall I think Ccet is well organised, good faculty, good in every department.
Placements: The placements in my college are good for all the branches. In the year 2015 maximum package offered to a student was 15 Lacs followed by Gemini solutions which was 6.4lakhs. In Chandigarh college of engineering and technology the top recruiter is mainly Infosys.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is well constructed. All classrooms are converted into virtual classrooms with multimedia projects. There is modernization in Lecture halls in the degree wing. There is parking facility, library facility, cafeteria facility, banking facility with ATM. So overall infrastructure is well organised.
Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified and helpful in every sense. Some teachers teach with the help of multi media projects to explain difficult topics with the help animated slides. The student to faculty ration is around 50:1. I got exposure of Chandigarh railway station and learnt about the working of various units of the railway system. The course curriculum was helpful in preparation of various competitive exams.
Other: Events such as intercollege Cricket, football, badminton are held every year. Athletic meet is also held every year. Fest called APRATIM is held every year in which other colleges take part in various competitions such as dancing, ramp walking, singing. The Beatles group is famous for its dance in our college. Scholarship is given to students who score required marks.
