Yes, however, most of the topics included in the NPAT syllabus comprises topics that candidates have studied until their Class 12 level education. SVKMs NMIMS conducts the NPAT exam with as many as three sections. NMIMS NPAT exam is a gateway for admission to Bachelor courses from the following streams:

• Commerce
• Econmics
• Liberal Arts
• Branding & Advertising
• International Studies
• Management

The NPAT exam syllabus for all the streams mentioned above is identical. Candidates need to answer questions from Verbal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Reasoning while taking the NPAT exam. Three sections in NPAT exam is at par with any other bachelor's level competitive exam in the country.

In the previous sessions of NMIMS NPAT exam, there was a section for General Knowledge. Candidates had toi answer questions from static GK as well as current affairs. However, SVKMs NMIMS do not have questions from GK section after 2020 exam session. The three core sections of NPAT exam are

• Verbal Reasoning: This section includes questions to test English Proficiency of the candidate.
• Logical Reasoning: This section includes questions to measure the ability or aptitude to reason logically.
• Quantitative Reasoning: This section includes questions to gauge the basic mathematical skills of the candidate.

NPAT exam does not include questions from GK or current affairs.
