NMIMS NPAT Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates aspiring for BBA admission through NPAT 2026 must fulfil the eligibility criteria for the NPAT exam. Candidates failing to meet the eligibility conditions will face rejection from the examination process. Space below mentions the eligibility criteria for NPAT 2026 prescribed by the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS).
- Candidates applying for the NPAT exam must have completed Class 12 or equivalent examination (inclusive of International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in any stream)
- Candidates can submit an IB diploma only if it is awarded by a recognised board. IB certificate holders are not eligible for the test.
- Candidates passing the 10+2 or equivalent examination from open or distance learning (ODL) are also eligible to apply for the exam. In this case, the school should be recognised by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
- Candidates who have not been able to clear 10+2 either from CBSE or ICSE board or IB diploma in their first attempt are not eligible for the NPAT exam
- Candidates must have obtained an aggregate of 60 per cent in 10+2 or equivalent examination
- Candidates holding IB Diploma will be eligible only if he/she has Mathematics/ Statistics at the standard level
- Candidates having cleared either CBSE/ ICSE board exam need to mention the aggregate marks of all the subjects of Class 10 or equivalent examination. The marks of best of four or five subjects will not be considered.
- Candidates exceeding the age of 25 years are not eligible to apply for the exam

SVKM's NMIMS releases the NPAT application form in an online mode. Candidates who wish to apply for the NPAT exam need to apply for the exam online. No other mode is available for the NPAT registration. NMIMS will not entertain any requests for offline submission of the application form. After submitting the online application form, candidates must take a print out of the NPAT form to retain the same for future references. However, this print-out is not required to be sent to the official authority. The copy of the filled in NPAT registration form can be used for reference to find any discrepancies in the admit card or merit list.

Candidates can view the exam date, exam city and complete address of the test centre on the admit card. The difficulty level across different sections may vary based on the exam session, and can be subjective to candidate's preparation. Therefore, candidates may find other section of the NPAT exam difficult.
SVKMs NMIMS will conduct NPAT exam in 23 states/UT. Each state may have multiple cities where the NPAT exam centres will be located. Collectively, these 23 states have around 65 test cities. Candidates filling the NPAT application form have to fill the preferred test city to appear for the exam. SVKMs NMIMS will allot a test centre based on the preference of the candidate, available seats in the test centre, number of candidates interested in a particular location, etc.

No. SVKMs NMIMS does not facilitate an offline application process for NPAT exam. Candidates have to apply for the NPAT exam online on the official website. SVKMs NMIMS will not entertain any requests for an offline submission of the NPAT application form. After submitting the NPAT application form
