NPAT Exam Analysis: Every year more than 80,000 candidates appear for the NPAT exam for admission into courses after class 12th. Candidates have the flexibility to appear for NPAT exam. Candidates applying for NPAT 2026 can choose the exam date as per their convenience. NMIMS allows up to three attempts at NPAT exam.

In the previous term of NPAT, i.e. 2025, the pattern of the exam was in line with the past trends. The NPAT exam comprises three sections to gauge candidates on Quantitative Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Reasoning. Candidates had to answer as many as 120 questions in the NPAT 2025 exam.

The difficulty level of the NPAT question paper for the quantitative and numerical ability section is typically moderate to hard as few questions in the section are time-consuming. The other two sections of the question paper that is proficiency in the English language and reasoning ability were easy to moderate. The expected NPAT 2025 cut off for the BBA course offered by NMIMS Mumbai is likely to follow the trends and remain between 69-71. Whereas, for NMIMS Bangalore, the expected cutoff would remain somewhere between 66 to 70.

NMIMS NPAT 2025 Exam Highlights

There is no major change in the NPAT exam pattern 2025. The key highlights of the NPAT 2025 exam are as follows:

  1. The NMIMS NPAT 2025 examination consists of three parts.  
  2. NPAT featured a total of 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each offering four options with only one correct choice.  
  3. The exam duration remained consistent with previous years, allowing candidates 100 minutes to complete questions from all three parts.  
  4. Although there was no time limit for each section, candidates were not permitted to move between sections.  
  5. Similar to past exams, the questions in the English language proficiency and reasoning ability sections ranged from easy to moderate difficulty.  
  6. In contrast, the questions in the quantitative and numerical ability section were more challenging, as they were both tricky and time-intensive.
