How to Prepare for NPAT 2026 in Six Months?

SVKMs NMIMS assesses critical thinking and analytical skills using the Reasoning and General Intelligence section of NPAT Exam. In this section of NPAT exam, in order to solve questions that are based on critical thinking, test takers should try to analyse the roles and conditions and based on it, solve the questions. For questions related to problem-solving, try to analyse the information and assimilate them in a suitable form to answer those questions. Candidates must practise as many questions as possible to get aware of different types of questions.

In this section of NPAT exam, test takers need to recognise grammatical structure and usage, use prepositions, determiners, connectives, tenses appropriately. Grasping the meaning of underlined words in sentences, using appropriate words in given context, put ideas into logical sequences by putting the jumbled sentences in the correct order. Once the students have registered for NMAT, they must register for the NMIMS SBM Mumbai MBA programme. Those who only register for NMAT and not for the preferred course are not considered for admissions. Following are the steps to apply:

1. Visit the official website of the institute.

2. Navigate to the admissions tab and click on the 'Apply Now' button.

3. Click on "Complete NMIMS Registration."

4. Candidates can login with GMAC ID and password to complete the registration.

5. Required documents upload and application fee payment.

Questions will be from Percentage, Profit and Loss, Discount, Compound Interest & Annuities, Ration and Proportions, Basic Algebraic Identities, Equations- Linear, Measures of Dispersion, Mean, Mode, Identities, Heights, and other important topics.
