NPAT 2026: One-Month Preparation Plan
The difficulty level of the NPAT 2026 exam is expected to remain easy to moderate; therefore, preparing for the exam within a month might be challenging. However, scoring well is not just about answering all the questions but also about leaving the questions that can lead to a waste of time. Although there is no negative marking, candidates must leave the questions they feel will consume more than a minute. With 120 questions to be answered in 100 minutes, candidates must answer each question in less than a minute.
Check the important stages to be involved in the NPAT one-month preparation strategy below.
Understanding NPAT Question Paper
NPAT 2026 question paper is compiled in sync with the test structure and syllabus. As per the NPAT exam pattern, candidates need to answer 120 questions within a time span of 100 minutes. NPAT is an English medium exam to be conducted online with no sectional time limit. The table below mentions the NPAT sectional overview:

Besides the exam pattern, NPAT syllabus holds the crucial information required for preparation. The table below mentions the syllabus for NPAT 2026:

| Proficiency in English Language |

Plan NPAT 2026 Preparation Wisely
Since the candidates have only one month to prepare for NPAT, it is crucial to plan the NPAT preparation wisely. One must assess his/her strengths and weaknesses before starting to study. One must filter the topics that are easy for them and those that they find difficult. Candidates can check the previous year’s question papers to find the important topics. Considering the candidates have studied Mathematics in Class 11 and 12, solving questions from Quantitative & Numerical ability will be relatively easier. Devote more time to the Reasoning and General Intelligence section as it is one of the unexplored sections. For General English, you need to have a good grasp of vocabulary, grammar and RC passages.
Plan Time Segregation for NPAT Exam
NPAT is a time-based test. With nearly 120 questions to be answered in 100 minutes, test takers will have less than a minute to answer each question in the NPAT exam. Candidates must work on their speed and accuracy while preparing for NPAT. Solving more questions will help increase the overall speed. NPAT mock tests will help increase the speed as well as accuracy.
NPAT Revision Strategy
You need to set aside at least an hour to revise the key topics you have already covered. The proper revision will ensure that you approach your questions with measured confidence. Take time to revise important formulas and shortcut tricks related to Quants and Reasoning. Also, make it a habit to jot down all the topics you have revised and takeaways from each session.
