SET Exam Mock Test 2026

SET mock test 2026 was made live on Symbiosis SET website on March 20, 2026, for students who registered for exam by March 15, 2026. Second SET mock test 2026 was available till April 6, 2026, for the candidates who registered for SET exam 2026 by March 31, 2026. Taking mock test is compulsory to take SET exam 2026. To understand question paper structure, important topics and weightage, students should take SET mock tests. Students should take a minimum of 25 to 30 mocks during their SET exam preparation. SIU provides an option to registered students to practice for SET exam through mocks. They will help the candidates know kind of questions which will be asked during the SET exam 2026. To take the SET mock test, follow the process below:

  • Go to SET website
  • Click on SET Exam Mock Test on homepage or copy www.mock.set-test.org/learn/account/signin

A: 

Students can prepare for SET exam even if they have not studied mathematics in high school. To prepare for mathematics component of SET exam students can start their SET preparation by learning formulas and theorems. The difficulty level of the QA section is slightly higher than rest sections but with practice, even a non-maths student can score well. 

Q:   Can Symbiosis SET be given remotely?
A: 

No, the SET exam cannot be given remotely. Every year the SET exam is conducted in the computer-based test mode. In 2021, the exam was however conducted in the internet-based test mode because of the coronavirus pandemic. Ever since, the SET exam has always been conducted in the computer-based test mode (CBT). To take the exam, candidates have to visit the SET exam centre and take the exam online. They can choose upto three preferred SET test cities during the SET exam registration. Candidates must reach the test centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam in order to avoid any hassle on the exam and complete the frisking formalities at the exam GATE smoothly.

Yes, the students can appear for the SET exam more than once. During the SET registration process, candidates are asked if they wish to appear for the first session, the second session or both the sessions. Candidates can choose as per their convenience and mark the checkbox in front of the test date. The SET exam 2026 will be conducted in the second week of May 2026, tentatively, in the computer-based test mode. Having said that, students applying for the SET exam must make sure they fulfil the eligiblity criteria and age requirement for the SET exam.

SET 2027 exam will likely be held in the second week of May 2027. SET exam will be conducted in CBT test format by Symbiosis International University. Duration of exam will be one hour and students can take exam at their test centre.

Yes, one can fill the SET application form on one day and pay the fee on another day as it is not mandatory to register for SET exam and fill the application form or pay the fee in one go.
