SET 2026: Last Minute Prep Tips for SET

The last days before the SET exam 2026 are very crucial and important. These days should be dedicated to revision and practice. What is more important is that candidates should remain calm and not take unnecessary performance pressure. Check out the last-minute prep tips for the SET exam below:

  • Revise: Revision is really important in the preparation for the SET exam. Candidates must spend enough time in revising every topic they have studied during SET exam preparation in the last months. Revise all the important concepts, theories and formulae that you have studied and strengthen the topics that you have covered. It is advised that students must make short notes during their preparation so that they can study from them during the last few days before the exam. Also, take a look at the SET exam pattern which will give you an understanding of how to go further with the SET preparation 2026.
  • Practice mock tests: Continue practicing SET mock tests and analyse your performance. Keep a check on your strengths and weaknesses and accordingly carry on with your preparation. This will increase your accuracy in solving the SET question paper. The more you practice the better you will get.
  • Do not start a new topic: Avoid starting new topics during the last days of SET preparation and rather focus on strengthening the topics that you have already studied. You will not be able to catch hold of the new topics fully and this might mess up what you have already prepared. Brush up your calculations, formulae and study for the GK section. Stick to the timetable that you made in the first stage of your preparations.
  • Focus on your weaknesses: During the last phase of SET preparation, students must allot more time to the weaker areas. Usually, students focus on the sections or topics that they already know. Candidates must try to devote a little more time on the weaker areas and strengthen those.
  • Give your mind a rest: Do not study continuously and keep taking little breaks in between. This will lower the pressure and you will, in turn, be able to focus more. Sleep well before the SET exam so that your mind is fresh on the exam day. Tackling a time-based exam requires an active and relaxed mind, hence it is important to give your brain some rest.
  • Keep calm and confident: Do not panic. Staying calm and confident will fetch you a good score in the SET 2026 exam. Do not get stressed and be confident about your preparations. It is very important to stay relaxed.
  • Keep relevant documents ready: Candidates must make sure that they reach the SET exam centre at least an hour prior to the commencement of the exam with all the relevant documents. The reporting time at the SET exam centre is 7:30 AM. Candidates will need two copies of SET 2026 admit card and two copies valid photo ID proof to get permission to enter the exam centre. Candidates should also carry coloured copies of the photograph.

Yes, SET can be prepared without coaching. Students should have serious and smart study plan if they are preparing without coaching. After going through the syllabus, students should revise and practice to ace the exam.
