Q:   What if I fail in TN SSLC exam?

Students need not worry, if they fail in TN SSLC exam 2025. They can appear for the supplementary exam. The TN board will release the TN SSLC supplementary dates 2025 soon after the release of the TN 10th result 2025. TN SSLC supplementary exam will be held in June/July 2025.

Q:   What is the passing criteria of TN SSLC exam?
A: 

Students need to score 35 marks out of 100 to pass in every subject in the TN 10th exam 2026. For subjects with practical, students need to score 20 out of 75 in theory and 15 out of 25 in practical examination. Marks secured in optional language are not considered for final TamilNadu 10th result declaration. Those who did not clear the TN 10th exam 2026 can appear for the TN 10th supplementary exam 2026. It will be held in June/July 2026.

Students need to score 35 marks out of 100 to pass in every subject in the TN 10th exam. For subjects with practical, students need to score 20 out of 75 in theory and 15 out of 25 in practical examination. Marks secured in optional language are not considered for final Tamil Nadu 10th result declaration. The passing marks in Tamil Nadu 10th are given below.
