TN 10th Syllabus 2026: The Directorate of Government Examination, Tamilnadu releases the Tamil Nadu state board syllabus for Class 10 for all subjects including Maths, English, Science, Social Science, etc. It is expected that TN board will follow last year's syllabus for 2026. The Tamilnadu SSLC Syllabus 2026 will be available in pdf format. Students can download the syllabus and refer to it during their preparation for TN SSLC exams 2026. This year, there is no reduction in the TN 10th syllabus.

You can join for B.Tech course through lateral entry. After your 10th, you can join for 3 year Govt authorized Polytechnic Diploma course. TN 10th Exam Pattern 2026

DGE prescribed the TN SSLC pattern along with TN 10th syllabus. It illustrates that each exam will be held for 100 marks and 2 hours and 30 minutes. However, 15 minutes extra are given for the reading of the question paper and verification of particulars by the students.

To clear the SSLC exam, students need to score minimum marks of 35 in each subject. However, for optional language papers such as Telugu, Arabic, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Gujarati, Sanskrit, French and Urdu, passing marks is not prescribed. Subject-wise exam pattern is explained below:
