The college is good with good placements but the campus is really compact and there is no playground

Placements: BIT has a very good placement rate. The highest package was 52 LPA, and the average package is around 16 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Fidelity, Accenture, and TCS. The department makes sure that all the students get an internship opportunity, or the department itself provides internships in college. Roles offered in our course are Data Analyst and Developer.

Infrastructure: We have a separate library and lab for our department, which is only used by our department's students. We also have our own mini auditorium or seminar hall. The labs are equipped with good-quality systems and good Wi-Fi. The hostel is quite decent with decent food. Sports are not given much importance in our college, as there is no playing area.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, as there is only one section from each batch and 65 students in one batch. Teachers can concentrate on each and every student's performance. All the teachers are double degree holders, and most of them have done their Ph.D. Usually, we have 3 internals as per VTU rules, and the question paper is set such that it has all sorts of questions, focusing on all types of students.

Other: I chose Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, as Artificial Intelligence is an emerging course and has high value in the future, as everyone is going to be dependent on Artificial Intelligence. There will be many events going on in campus, as there are 30+ active clubs. We get scholarships like SSP, etc.

The college is a bit crowded and small but good placement and faculty.

Placements: This year, only 50% of the students were placed; the highest package was 22 LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Fideliity, LSG, etc. 70 percent of students got internships. The top roles offered in this course are SDE data analyst, software engineer and AI engineer.

Infrastructure: The college contains all the necessary courses and departments, such as a library sports room, a reading room with Wi-Fi and 24/7 electricity, classrooms with projectors, which are also very helpful to teachers and students and a library that contains all the new and updated books.

Faculty: The teachers were helpful throughout the course and were highly knowledgeable. The teaching quality is up to par and very understandable; the course curriculum is relevant and makes the student industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is 35%.

The college has average infrastructure with above average placements and faculty members.

Placements: This year, a student from the 6th semester of the ECE branch got placed in Mercedes Benz with an annual salary package of 38.5 LPA. This isn't a single good placement, there are many more. If you work hard or even average, you have a good chance of getting placed in a good company with a good salary package. So if you are in a dilemma about whether to go to this college or not, just go for it.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. The library is quite good. You can study in the library from 8 pm - 9 pm at night and the facilities are also good. Other facilities are good.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and will also appreciate you if you do good. Some faculty members of particular subjects will tend to be hard on you but only a few. Just don't argue with them, let them think they are the most knowledgeable person in the world. Semester exams are not so difficult. If you have internals just study one night before the exam and you can score full marks without any issues. Just don't stress yourself too much. You will feel some pressure due to lots of exams, assignments, and projects but just make friends and do all these with fun.
