They have good knowledge, and their behaviour is good.

Placements: 50% of the students were placed, with 16 LPA as the highest and the lowest being 5 LPA. L&T and the Birla Group of Companies are the top recruiting companies, and they come each year to place students in the company. I am feeling very well.

Infrastructure: All available facilities are good. Classrooms are well-maintained. Wi-Fi speed is also first-class. Medical facilities are not too good. The canteen staff's behaviour is good, and various sports are available in our college, such as volleyball and cricket.

Faculty: Teachers are well-trained and well-qualified. The teaching quality of our teachers is very good because they all studied at IIT. The semester exams were very hard in our college, and the passing marks in each subject were in the 33rd percentile.

Other: I opted for this course because I want to be a good civil engineer.

I am not dissatisfied with the faculty because the faculty in our college is very good.

Placements: 80 percent of students are placed in our course. The highest package in our course is 16LPA, the lowest package offered is 4LPA and the average package in our course is 8LPA. The top recruitment companies in our course are L&T, JSW, Adani, etc. 50 percent of students get internship in our course in Adani JSPL L&T. The top roles in our course are designing.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good in our department, such as Wi-Fi, a classroom, and a library. The quality of the hostel in our college is very good and the mess food is also good. Canteens are also available in our college, and the food in the canteen is also very good, such as aloo paratha.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable in our course. The quality of teaching is also very good. The semester exams in our college are very difficult and the passing percentage is 33 percentile. The semester exams are randomly held in our college.

College is good for your personal studies. You will get enough time to prepare for competition.

Placements: Placement scenario at BIT Sindri is decent. Average package is around 7 LPA - 8 LPA. But the placement of civil branch is very poor. Not half of the batch got placed. Mining branch has a good package. Cyber security was added in the year 2024.

Infrastructure: All branches have separate departments. Bit Sindri has a huge library but the staffs are not that much cooperative. You can take a book for 15 days, and after that, 10 paise/day will be charged. There is no Wi-Fi zone on the campus. Hostel is decent, you have to stay with 4-5 students in the 1st and 2nd year. In 3rd year, you will get separate room.

Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful and cooperative. All teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. But they don't use their potential fully. Exams are not so tough. You can pass the exams by studying the day before the exams. You can neither expect too much from a government college.

Other: Civil branch has poor placement but has a bright future. You can apply for many government jobs. Fests are rare at the college. There are clubs and NGOs where you can join and organise events and do social work.

Placements: Around 90% of Civil students secure campus placements annually. The highest package is up to 13 LPA, with recruiters like JSW, Vedanta, Aditya Birla, and Unacademy. The average package is approximately 6.5 LPA for Civil Engineering. Over 100 internship offers to Civil students in 2024. Comparable to other core branches.

Infrastructure: The campus has decent labs, especially in Civil Engineering. Surveying, Concrete, Soil Mechanics, and Environment labs are well-equipped but sometimes face maintenance delays. The Central Library offers good resources, including textbooks and past papers. Hostels are basic, mostly shared rooms, moderately clean, and old in infrastructure, though some renovations have occurred. Mess food is average with limited variety; canteens provide basic meals. Other: I chose Civil Engineering because of my interest in infrastructure and design. BIT Sindri offers experienced faculty, strong core placements (JSW, Vedanta, Aditya Birla), and affordable fees. Almost, every institute offers admission for lateral entry same as Birsa Institute of Technology do. BIT conducts separate exam for that and the number of seats through lateral entry in all branches are 10% of the normal seats.
