Heavily contented with the college facilities and educational system but not pleased by placements.
Placements: Almost 30% of the students got placed of which the highest package was received by a single student which is about 35,000 per month. Different non-core companies ranging from Decathlon to TCS recruited students. Most of the students who did six months internship instead of final year project got placed in those companies.
Infrastructure: The college were able to provide all those modern facilities ranging from smart class with projectors to strong internet connection. The library provided plethora of books and those books were well updated. Each and every students were provided with industrial standard machines for the laboratory experiments. In the case of hostel discipline was strictly maintained through the entire span of course. The food facilities from the canteen were not upto standards. All the recreational sports which includes basketball, football and so on were supported in the college and they provided the needed facilities.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members were IIT alumni who were having at least 5 years of work experience in a multinational firm. The education standards were high, classes were mostly interactive with much importance given to practical knowledge. The syllabus provided covered every topics related to the field of mechanical engineering with consistent industrial visit the students were qualified to work in a firm as soon as they are graduated.
Other: College did support extracurricular activities such as sports, fests and even hosted annual tech fests. But the prizes were mainly cash awards and there were no grace marks for the participants or winners.
