Your chances of getting admission into the College of Engineering Guindy (CEG) for B.Tech with 60% in Class 12th depend on various factors, including:
Entrance exam scores: CEG admissions for B.Tech are based on the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) score for Tamil Nadu students and Anna University Counselling for other state students. You'll need a good score in the relevant entrance exam to be eligible for counseling.
Reservation category: If you belong to a reserved category, you'll have a better chance of getting admission with a lower score due to relaxation in eligibility criteria.
Specific B.Tech program: The cutoff scores for different B.Tech programs at CEG can vary. Some programs may have higher cutoff scores than others.

With a 75 percentile in JEE Main, admission to College of Engineering Guindy (CEG) is difficult because Tamil Nadu students must rely on TNEA, and there are high cutoffs for popular branches. Cut-off ranks in previous years have exceeded a possible rank of 50,000+, with ranges from 10,000 to 30,000. It is encouraged to raise JEE Main scores, look into universities with lower cutoffs, or take a closer look at CEG's other branches. Since cut-offs change every year, your chances of getting a higher score are increased. For well-informed selections, extensive research and remaining current with entrance requirements are essential.
