Everything is satisfying for studying.
Placements: Most of the students get placements, but not everyone gets placements from the college. Off-campus placements are better options to get placements than college. The highest package was 23 LPA, and I don't know the lowest, but the average package is 4-5.4 LPA in my course. In my knowledge, Deloitte is the top recruitment company. There's a placement cell for internships. Top roles are software engineer and web developer.
Infrastructure: Facilities, infrastructure, Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are all good. There is a good Wi-Fi facility everywhere on the campus. Classrooms are good and well-maintained. The library is also well-maintained and up-to-date. There are 3 labs for our course, all well-maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and they give several pieces of advice related to our career. Any doubt we have, we can share with them. The course curriculum is good and can make the students industry-ready, subjects are well-skilled. Semester exams are of a good level, not very tough or easy.

Well satisfied with the college with good environment and placements.
Placements: There are good placement opportunities provided by our college, but for some courses the placement is not good. Highest package I know was 21 LPA in 2023, and average was 5 LPA that year. Many reputed companies, including Deloitte, visit the campus for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good enough, I like it. Library, labs, and classrooms are all good, having Wi-Fi in them. There are drinking water systems placed at different spots. The environment of the college is also really good, societies are very active and hardworking.
Faculty: Teachers I've met till now are helpful and knowledgeable, and they are good at their work. Exams are not very difficult or very easy. The level is decent for clearing exams. Courses are good to make a career in, and the seniors are also very helpful. Teachers give advice about internships and job placement after college as well.

Need for steady classes but overall it is a good college.
Placements: The highest package offered goes up to 23 LPA and the average package is around 3-4 LPAx Deloitte, Grant Thronton, EXL, KPMG, Cent, Tech Mahindra and many other leading companies offer more than 600 packages along with attracting the highest stipend being 50000 INR per month.
Infrastructure: The college consists of 2 labs along with several classrooms in the old building and 2 new buildings. The classrooms are not well maintained in the old building. The new building classes are still maintained well. The sports ground is very well maintained and it consists of every sports equipment required.
Faculty: The teachers are very good but there is a need for steady classroom schedule as it changes every day and the students are not notified regarding the change in the time table. The difficulty level of the exams is medium as the teachers help us understand the course properly. They help us in understanding what to do and what not to do.

My journey through CVS must be read!
Placements: I don't think there are many placements for the computer sector; very few companies are visiting and hiring for computers. Science was thinking I would get good placements, but I was very satisfied when I learned that companies are only offering sales positions.
Infrastructure: The course is good, well-structured, and very helpful, but I feel a strong need for more practical knowledge. Sometimes the course feels too vast to practice more on the practical side, and when it comes to hostel facilities, there is rented shared accommodation but not from college.
Faculty: Faculty members were helpful and considerate about the syllabus and students; they were very helpful whenever we needed help; they always came and helped us, sometimes going out of their comfort zone. I would like to say Parul Chachra, mam of the computer science department, is the best teacher.

There are no placements for CS students.
Placements: Placements in our college are fine. The average salary package offered varies from 5 LPA - 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered ranges between 5 LPA - 6 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 21 LPA. The placement society provides many opportunities to students. Around 40-50% of students got placed. There are not so great opportunities for CS students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is not good. Wi-Fi is available only in the library. The food served in the canteen is good at affordable prices. There is drinking water problem during summer which is the biggest problem. Our college does not have a hostel facility.
Faculty: Our teachers have good knowledge of the course and they provide students with the best knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant to improve students knowledge. Semester exams are of moderate level, but as CS students, they have to study hard for the entire year to gain good marks.
Other: Our college has moderately busy calendar with 1-3 monthly events. Crowd is good. Events and fests are great.

Q:   How is faculty at CVS, Delhi?
    A:

The faculty is quite good here.

Let me elaborate about the CS faculty.

The teachers here are quite knowledgeable and will provide a good guidance for your future if you talk with them and ask them respectfully for the purpose of learning for yourself and not to check whether he knows or not.

Irrespective of the poor lab facilities here teachers does not lessen their efforts to teach the students provided the class should be interactive and all the students should participate, as it helps maintain a good environment in the class and even motivate the teachers to provide everything that they have learned till now to pass their learnings to the students. The problem with my batch is less interaction in the classes due to which the classes get boring.

The teachers are very hardworking, even the class is irresponsive but she makes sure that she has taught everything and is the only teacher who even discussed previous year papers in the classes.

Other departments teachers are also nice but I am from CS department.

Q:   How is mess food at CVS, Delhi?
    A:

The canteen food is overall good and I would say it's above average. From veg to non-veg, both types of food items are available and a well maintained canteen is present.

But I would rather recommend Chole kulche and parathe kulche from outside the college gate.
