Decent college with good learning environment and average placements.

Placements: Around 50-70 percent of students got placed depending on the course. The average package is around 3 LPA-5 LPA with the highest going up to 6 LPA-8 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Internship opportunities are available but students often need to apply on their own. Roles offered are mostly entry-level like support engineer, analyst, etc.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure with proper classrooms, labs, and a library. Wi-Fi is available but it can be slow sometimes. Labs are decent but could be upgraded. Hostel facilities are average. The rooms are manageable and the food quality is okay. There are sports and medical facilities available as well.

Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good but sometimes it depends on the subject and faculty. The curriculum is relevant but needs some updates to match current industry requirements. Semester exams are moderate not too difficult if you study regularly. Pass percentage is quite good, and most students clear exams without much difficulty.

Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in Science and computer-related subjects. The best part of my course is that it gives both theoretical and practical knowledge. Teachers are supportive and help in understanding concepts clearly. I feel that more practical exposure and industry-level training should be added. The college organizes some events and fests which are enjoyable, and the campus crowd is decent. Connectivity is good and the surroundings are also fine. Scholarships are available but awareness about them should be improved.

My experience during my graduation at Dyal Singh.

Placements: In my course, around 50 students were placed in top companies last year. The highest package offered in my course is 10 LPA, and the average is 3.36 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Vishalakshi Foundation, Concentrix, etc. Around 60% of students in our course got internships last year in Chegg, Owlsurf, Oyo Rooms, Concentrix, Wipro, etc. Top roles offered in our course are data entry, website making, etc.

Infrastructure: Our college's CS department is too good. The computers still run on Linux OS, which is a little bit slow and can be an error. Overall, classrooms are good, with every classroom having a projector. Labs are very good, but lack of instruments in the Physics lab. Library is too good, there are too many books and the latest edition printed books. In the canteen, the food is good, well-cooked always, and affordable, but sometimes, they lack cleanliness.

Faculty: All the teachers in our college are well-trained and qualified. Their teaching behavior and quality are commendable. Almost everyone holds Ph.D degrees. My course curriculum in my opinion is good, but not too much good. This course is good when you are preparing for something else if you want an easy one and some moderate-level knowledge of coding. Semester exams in my opinion are too easy, mostly questions come from the previous year. The pass percentage is almost 97%.

Other: I chose this course because I want to do something else, and I want to prepare for government job exams. In this course, I get enough time to manage my studies and time. I wish my course would have math removed in my opinion. There is no use of such type of complex math in CS courses. Society events are organized every 2 weeks. Campus is good, well-cleaned, well-maintained, and well-green. The campus crowd is good. The surroundings are fully posh as there are too many offices such as SSC. Connectivity is too good.

Good faculty and very helpful.

Placements: There were no placements in my batch. Only some sales companies came, which were not related to my field. Some students got placed on their own as our college didn’t assist us with placements, and that’s why the majority of students didn’t get placed. So, please start preparing for your placements from the 1st year onwards, as it will help you in your final year.

Infrastructure: The facilities are neither good nor bad. There are normal washrooms and some water coolers. WiFi is available only for the lab computers. Classrooms are also normal. The library is good, as it contains most of the books you will need, and the seating arrangements are also nice.

Faculty: The faculty is pretty good and helpful. They are all very qualified and have good domain knowledge. Their teaching methods were also great. If you want a job, this course will give you enough skills for the industry, but I would prefer to do a master’s degree and then apply for a job. Semester exams are not that difficult, but now you have to pass both practicals and theory separately.

Other: I chose this course because of the subjects, and it contains physics and math along with computer science, so you have many options for your master's degree. If this course had focused more on computer science, it would have been better for me. Every year, fests happen, and events take place regularly.

Overall the college environment is good and worth it. The titles of review would be DSC THE LIFE.

Placements: Currently I am in second year. The college has its own placement cell society that helps its students to get placed out in different companies. The minimum package offered is near around 2 LPA. Roles that are offered are for lab technician, lab assistants, lab managers. If a student completes his /her Ph.D, he/she can even reach to roles of professors.

Infrastructure: There is no hostel available in college for students. The classrooms are well maintained with comfortable benches, white boards and library is the best place in the college with utter silence. The library have its own personal Wi-Fi for students. The labs are well maintained with all the equipments required for certain experiments.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and are knowledgeable in their respective subjects. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant as it includes both theory as well as practical. Lab classes brings out the best within a student and helps them to be ready for the industry world. The semester exams are held at the end of the semester whereas during the semester the teachers arrange class test, viva, internal exams, as well as practical which helps the student to be more involved in his / her studies.

Other: The best thing about this course is it provides me an opportunity to explore all the three main subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Maths. From here, we get an opportunity to do honors or master in any of these subject and continue with our Ph.D. The best thing about this course is its practical based learning. The thing that I wished that would help in making my course better is more of experiential learning. The overall campus is good. The connectivity is best as it has JLN Stadium as its the nearest metro station with bus station too. There are several societies which a student can join to bring out the extra talent from him /her. Yearly freshers as well as fests are organized in the college. Overall the college is worth it.

Amazing faculty with good infrastructure but lesser placement opportunities.

Placements: Around 40-45% of students were placed previously from our course. The highest package according to the information was around 8 Lakhs per annum and the lowest package was around 3 Lakhs per annum. The top recruiter companies such as Infosys, Wipro, TCS, IBM, HCL Technologies, Deloitte, etc. Top roles such as software development, IT support engineer, Digital marketing intern, and financial analyst are only offered.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is pretty decent and spacious. We have a very large NCC Ground, basketball ground and cricket field. The Computer Science department is very good with two big labs and various classrooms which are ventilated and have a projector in them. A proper Wi-Fi connection is also available in the computer labs for the systems. The library is also self-sufficient with different courses books and a very large seating area. There is no hostel available in our college. The canteen is also very big with decent hygiene.

Faculty: The teachers are very supportive and knowledgeable of the Computer Science department. The faculty is very well qualified with advanced degrees and research backgrounds. They use both traditional and practical methods of teaching for a better understanding of students. The semester exams are moderate and are according to the syllabus given only. The course curriculum is relevant and gives students the latest knowledge in technology and advancements in Science and Mathematics and is also helpful for further post-graduation courses.

Other: The combination of Computer Science and Physical Science. Physics and Maths offer a unique interdisciplinary approach that appeals to both of my interests in the fields. The course provides a strong foundation in both Physical Science and Computing, opening diverse career opportunities. Dyal Singh College is known for its academic excellence and vibrant and big campus. The curriculum is well structured with both practical and theoretical knowledge related to the real world. There are numerous clubs and societies with ample opportunities for the students for personality development and soft skills. Various sports facilities such as cricket, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton etc. are present.

It is a very good college.

Placements: The placement cell is very good.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Our campus is huge. The food served in the canteen is decent. Many food items are available. There is a decent library in this college. Medical facilities are average. Washrooms are very good. There are multiple sanitary napkins in the washrooms.

Dyal singh college is one of the best college in south campus, worth considering.

Placements: Most of students goes for higher studies but many companies are visiting in the college like wipro, TCS and many other. I am second year student so do not have more knowledge about placement. Students got internship through the college and many other groups of university of Delhi.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure are so good and I personally like my college library because in there many types of books are present and environment is so good for study. Wi-Fi is also available and smart as well as normal classrooms are available but hostel facility is not available in my college.

Faculty: Faculty are outstanding, professor are well qualified and knowledgeable and very helpful, because faculty guide every student easily because there the number of students are so large. Faculty are very experienced so they taught those topic which have greater probability of coming in examination.
