    On Highlights
Q:   How is mess food at CVS, Delhi?
    A:

The canteen food is overall good and I would say it's above average. From veg to non-veg, both types of food items are available and a well maintained canteen is present.

But I would rather recommend Chole kulche and parathe kulche from outside the college gate.

Q:   How are placements at CVS, Delhi?
    A:

Overall, the on-campus placements are good but if you are pursuing a technical course from here then it might not be good enough as the companies that come here are for vocational courses.

So, if you are from a technical background or pursuing a technical course then you need to work consistently on your skillset and grab opportunities that come your way off campus and you can also participate in Placement drive that occur in North Campus or respected DU colleges such as Deshbandhu College which organises its drive and invite students from all over DU.

Q:   What is unique about CVS, Delhi?
    2thumbs up
    A:

The unique thing about CVS is its crowd that comes to the college, according to my experience the crowd is very diverse here. CVS offers a good exposure for students who are preparing to come out of their comfort zone and open up to all the opportunities that are coming their way. Students will learn to make good connections here and a bond that lasts forever.

In short, college is good. Good environment, friends, supporting members, and faculty.
Placements: Approximately 70 students in a batch, the highest package is 6 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Internships are not provided by the college. You have to find them yourself, and Computer Science is the highest offered course. Companies hire students based on their performance in college.
Infrastructure: Library, Wi-Fi, and classrooms are all good, but there are no hostel facilities in the college. You have to take a PG or flat near the college. Sports and games are available, including football, volleyball, cricket, etc. The canteen food is also tasty, and there is a Mother Dairy franchise in college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-educated. The course curriculum is relevant, and exams are moderate, making it easy to pass; almost all students pass. Faculty are very supportive of students, with lenient checking in exams. The admin office also supports the students in the country.
Other: As I am a Science student, I chose this course, which is related to AI as well. Festivals and events are held every year in this college along with scholarships, etc.

CVS is a quite good college.
Placements: CVS has a placement rate of around 75%, with top companies including Accenture, Deloitte, Wipro, TCS, and KPMG. The highest package offered up to 23 LPA, with an average package of 5 LPA. The placement cell is quite good and very active.
Infrastructure: The college has well-maintained classrooms. It features 2 laboratories, including computer and electronics. The infrastructure is quite good, but the canteen is very small, and the ground is clean and very big. There is no hostel in the college for vocational studies.
Faculty: Faculty are too good, especially Dr NS Rana sir. He is a very down-to-earth person, and the rest of the teachers are good and knowledgeable, but you know what, your placement doesn't depend on college. If you work hard on your skills, no matter which college you attend, you will get what you want from your skills.
Other: The crowd is massive, but there is a problem that many times your class is cancelled, and sometimes you find out about it after reaching to college. Fresher's party is so good, and the admin office members are quite supportive and helpful.

    Everything is satisfying for studying.
Placements: Most of the students get placements, but not everyone gets placements from the college. Off-campus placements are better options to get placements than college. The highest package was 23 LPA, and I don't know the lowest, but the average package is 4-5.4 LPA in my course. In my knowledge, Deloitte is the top recruitment company. There's a placement cell for internships. Top roles are software engineer and web developer.
Infrastructure: Facilities, infrastructure, Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are all good. There is a good Wi-Fi facility everywhere on the campus. Classrooms are good and well-maintained. The library is also well-maintained and up-to-date. There are 3 labs for our course, all well-maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and they give several pieces of advice related to our career. Any doubt we have, we can share with them. The course curriculum is good and can make the students industry-ready, subjects are well-skilled. Semester exams are of a good level, not very tough or easy.

Well satisfied with the college with good environment and placements.
Placements: There are good placement opportunities provided by our college, but for some courses the placement is not good. Highest package I know was 21 LPA in 2023, and average was 5 LPA that year. Many reputed companies, including Deloitte, visit the campus for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good enough, I like it. Library, labs, and classrooms are all good, having Wi-Fi in them. There are drinking water systems placed at different spots. The environment of the college is also really good, societies are very active and hardworking.
Faculty: Teachers I've met till now are helpful and knowledgeable, and they are good at their work. Exams are not very difficult or very easy. The level is decent for clearing exams. Courses are good to make a career in, and the seniors are also very helpful. Teachers give advice about internships and job placement after college as well.

College of Vocational Studies (complete honest review, batch: 2023).
Placements: So, for B.Sc. Hons computer science, our college doesn't offer placements and it is the truth. Placements are available through the college placement cell ASPIRE, for vocational courses or HR and other fields but for tech students, they have to apply for off-campus placements only.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is fine. ACs are available in canteen, girls and boys common rooms, and in the staffrooms. The old building has average infrastructure. But the new block and the second building block have good infrastructure. Classrooms are also good with benches and proper ventilation. The ground area is quite big. Canteen has decent food. The washrooms are available in front of new building block and 3 water coolers are available on the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are great. Teachers are quite experienced and are helpful when asked about doubts. Syllabus completion is done on time. Internals are always taken on time, and for the practical subjects viva and other important tests will also be taken by the subject teacher. Some teachers however, are difficult to approach but some are good and don't cause any problem when asked about doubts.
Other: Our course seems to be a bit outdated because now a days new tech stacks and technologies are developed so the syllabus should be revised every year. We can enroll in SEC and VAC for new and additional courses. College offers scholarships to students which can be done by giving the required documents to the admin office. Fests and everything are also great. This year, our college actually did great in fests compared to other years with DJ and everything.

Need for steady classes but overall it is a good college.
Placements: The highest package offered goes up to 23 LPA and the average package is around 3-4 LPAx Deloitte, Grant Thronton, EXL, KPMG, Cent, Tech Mahindra and many other leading companies offer more than 600 packages along with attracting the highest stipend being 50000 INR per month.
Infrastructure: The college consists of 2 labs along with several classrooms in the old building and 2 new buildings. The classrooms are not well maintained in the old building. The new building classes are still maintained well. The sports ground is very well maintained and it consists of every sports equipment required.
Faculty: The teachers are very good but there is a need for steady classroom schedule as it changes every day and the students are not notified regarding the change in the time table. The difficulty level of the exams is medium as the teachers help us understand the course properly. They help us in understanding what to do and what not to do.
