Why Dyal Singh deserves a spot on your DU list.

Placements: Placements are good for the commerce related job profiles while it is not so good for the other courses. The highest package is above 15 LPA, average is 5 LPA, and the lowest would be 2 LPA - 3 LPA. Top roles offered are HR intern, consultant, data entry, etc. College has a dedicated placement cell which brings companies to the campus and also conducts internships and placement fairs.

Infrastructure: College has a dedicated lab for computer science students with good Wi-Fi connection. Classrooms are also good with projector support. It has a library with AC where you can find all the course books and other books too. Canteen is also well-maintained with variety of food items at reasonable price. There are sports teams for all the famous sports like cricket, basketball, volleyball, kabaddi, football, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members of the college are highly qualified. Many of them have completed their Ph.D, and also published multiple research papers in various fields. They are highly supportive and reachable. The semester exams are conducted within the college. The difficulty level is moderate like you could easily score above 7 GPA by studying 1 week before.

Other: I chose the college because it is one of the best colleges for computer science in DU after Hansraj, ARSD. The fee structure is also very less which supports students from every aspect. Various cultural fests are conducted throughout the year on the department level, and also Priyadarshini College's annual fest is conducted once a year. The campus is full of greenery with a very high profile, and easily accessible location. The students are also very good. Scholarships are also provided to needy students by applying for them.

I am satisfied with the qualified faculty members.

Placements: Approximately 60 percent of students got placed and many pursued higher studies the highest package offered: INR 20 LPA Average package offered : INR 6 LPA top recruiting companies : Bajaj capital, Wipro, Genpact, KPMG global and etc. Sectors covered: Assurance, IT, sales and marketing.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are furnished with essential amenities including projector, fans, blackboard, and tube light. Computer labs are airconditioned and have high-speed internet access. The library has approximately 90000+ books and also u can access many articles and books for free in Google Scholar using college Wi-Fi. Dyal Singh College does not provide an on-campus hostel. Students have to rent flats or arrange for PG nearby college canteen offers various food options at affordable prices. Medical facilities are available to address minor health concerns. The college offers various sports facilities, including ground for outdoor games and indoor games.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Many teachers of my course have completed Ph.D. The curriculum is designed to cover essential computer science topics so that students can get the necessary skills for industry. Semester exams are not that hard but yes you have to clear your basics in that particular subject to pass that subject. The college maintains passing criteria of 33% of total marks, which includes performance in both practical assignments and theoretical exams.

Other: I opted for this course because I have an interest in software engineering. The best aspects of the course are a comprehensive curriculum, quality faculty, and affordable fees.

It is an average college, but the location is nice.

Placements: This college is not really great for placements. If you want placements, the North Campus is better, but that depends on your marks. The highest package I have heard of is 12 LPA. I can't say for sure because this is my first year. So I suggest you all score great marks in CET and get for North Campus because top recruiting companies come there.

Infrastructure: Hostels are not available for this college. You can go for a PG or flat, which are readily available in Delhi. The library is nice but not as big compared to North Campus. The classroom lab is good, but there are no Asian classrooms and no Wi-Fi. A laptop will be provided to you, but only after a special request and a wait of 6–7 months.

Faculty: I feel like faculty members are great. Obviously, they have done their Ph.D. from Delhi University, which is why they are here. But again, North Campus is better. In South Campus, the main colleges like Lady Shri Ram and Venkateshwara are better. This college is not like your regular South Campus college, as regular fights occur here.

Other: It is on Lodhi Road, so in 10 minutes of walking, you can go to Lodhi Garden, Humayun's Tomb, and Sundar Nursery.

Placements: The college placements are average. Around 50 percent of students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 21 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiters for computer science include TCS, Wipro and startups. Internships are limited, but students with skills can secure off-campus opportunities. Delhi University tag provides an advantage. Common roles offered include tester, developer and junior associate developer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. There is a large campus, a well-stocked library and reliable Wi-Fi. Labs and classrooms are well-equipped. Hostel facilities are not available but affordable PG options are nearby. The canteen offers varied food at affordable prices. The college organizes cultural events and has a strong alumni network. Overall, the college provides a well-rounded education and a great learning experience.

Faculty: Our teachers are well-educated, experienced and helpful. All professors are PhD scholars. Some teachers can be arrogant but that's a minor issue. Semester exams are moderate. Papers are set by University of Delhi. Studying 10 days before exams yields decent marks while 2-3 days is enough to pass. The failure rate is very low. Faculty members are supportive. They encourage us in extracurricular activities.

Other: I'm pursuing a B.Sc. Hons CS in this college due to personal reasons. The course syllabus is similar to B.Tech CS and is updated. My experience is good, but the college should focus on encouraging creativity and providing real-life experience through internships. The college fest is average, but being a part of Delhi University, you can attend other DU college fests.

Excellent Value and Vibrant Campus Life .

Placements: I wanted to share my concerns about the placement process at our college. Unfortunately, there were no companies visiting for placements this year, which left many of us worried about our future. Additionally, the placement cell didn't offer any substantial help or guidance. This has been really disappointing and frustrating for us students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure dedicated to our course was nothing short of amazing. The classrooms were well-equipped with modern technology, creating an ideal environment for learning. Living and studying in such an environment not only made my time at college enjoyable but also reinforced the importance of sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Faculty: I wanted to share my feedback regarding the faculty, curriculum, and exams for my course. The faculty was incredible knowledgeable and supportive, making the learning experience enjoyable. The curriculum was well-structured and covered all the essential topics in a clear and concise manner. Additionally, the exams were fair and straightforward, reflecting the curriculum perfectly. Overall, I found the course amazing and super easy to follow. Thank you for providing such a fantastic educational experience!

Other: I just wanted to say how impressed I am with the value for money and the overall campus experience. The tuition and fees are reasonable, and the facilities and resources available to students are top-notch. The crowd is diverse and vibrant, making it easy to connect and make friends.
