Placements: Till now 16% of students get placed. The highest package offered is 28 LPA, the lowest is 20 LPA, and average is 24 LPA. No idea about the companies recruitment. But around 45% of students got internships in my course. Top roles offered in this course are in journalism, language translation, and lecturer.
Infrastructure: In this college, we have Wi-Fi for study and common rooms. There is no hostel in college. Medical facilities are satisfactory. The classroom environment is good. Best infrastructure of library with all the books available and individual as well as group study rooms.
Faculty: Our college has helpful teachers with more than 15 years of teaching experience, and best teaching quality. Our department has relevant course curriculum. If you have well prepared for the exam then the semester exams are quite easy. The passing percentage is 6 GPA for semesters as well as for the year.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in literature and novels. The best thing about this is that you get to know more about foreign literature as well as about Indian culture like the ancient stories that we heard from our parents. Events here are really good. The annual fest and other events are very cheerful. The extracurricular activities in societies and clubs are also interesting.

It's a good college according to the fee.
Placements: There are around 30 to 40% of students who got placements from the college side. I am not sure, but it's around a minimum of 4 LPA and a maximum of 8 to 10 LPA. All the students got internships every year; like everyone got an internship, but it's their choice.
Infrastructure: Faculty members and infrastructure are average according to the field's structure. Labs are available. Basically, if I say it's good for Science students but not for Arts, it's because the infrastructure is top-notch for Science students, and Wi-Fi isn't working.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in everything, but only for the students who really want to succeed. Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that difficult to pass, but it is difficult to score good marks.
Other: I was interested in the course, and that's my priority. The best thing about the course is that it's really interesting.

College is average as what you expect for this fee so its worth it according to that.
Placements: Around 40% of students got placed every year. The highest package is around 15 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. The percentage of students got internship is almost 100%. Most of the students are not satisfied with that.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. But if I talk about the Wi-Fi, it isn't working campus areas like it gives full signal but has no internet access in that also. Classrooms are good. Library area is nice but the food quality of canteen is very bad. But if area is good as compared to canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. But due to zero compatibility between teachers and students, it's hard to give good results. Course is very relevant to the curriculum, and it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams at the college are easy to pass.
Other: I chose this college because I really love the subject English so as I am interested in reading novels. I would say that they have to improve the subject like second back as it is not relatable to the course. Events and fests are good.

Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Top roles offered in our course include journalism, editing, content writing, and management. Top companies actively recruit at our college, which has a very good placement facility
Infrastructure: Facilities in our department are quite good, and the food in the canteen is hygienic. Medical facilities are also available and well-maintained. Additionally, the teachers are very respectful and kind.
Faculty: Teachers at our college are very kind and respectful. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, and the passing percentage is around 33-40%. You can study and pass the exams with good scores. This course makes students industry-ready by teaching them real-life skills.
Other: I chose this course to gain knowledge in literature and language. The things I would like to see improved are the network quality and the cleanliness of the bathrooms.

Reasons why you should keep Deshbandhu in lower ranks of your preference list.
Placements: Honestly, Deshbandhu College is decent when it comes to placements. Especially if you're from Commerce or Science streams. Average salary package is around 3-4 LPA, and some students do get higher offers. Placement cell puts in effort, but for Arts students, opportunities are quite limited, so many go for higher studies or exams.
Infrastructure: I don't stay in a hostel as I am a Delhi resident. But as for basic facilities for my college course, there is a difference between art students and the Science building. There is a difference even in basic facilities like toilets, so I would say that my college facilities are below average. But it's a personal experience, others may differ.
Faculty: Academically, Deshbandhu College is actually above average. Most teachers are knowledgeable and supportive. Curriculum is well-structured. A few teachers either lag behind the syllabus or skip classes altogether, which can be frustrating. Still, if you're consistent on your own, you can get a lot out of it.
Other: I would say that the campus is poorly planned or something, because for events there is no proper staff training or space to accommodate people from other colleges.
