Good infrastructure but dissatisfied by faculty and placements.
Placements: I am in the Computer Science and Engineering course. The college claims 100% placement, but according to my knowledge, only 40 to 50% of students get placed in my branch. The average package is 3.5 LPA. Many students in the fourth year get internships, but many don't get placed. The college claims that 30 to 40 companies visit for placements, but it's a myth. Only a few companies visit for campus selection and select a limited number of students.
Infrastructure: Labs provided by our college are good and have good infrastructure. There are no complaints about labs. But the college does not have a good Wi-Fi connection. Hostel facilities are the best. It has three varieties of hostels at an affordable price. There is also the availability of North and South Indian mess.
Faculty: Teachers are government employees. I think they are not knowledgeable enough about their subjects. The course curriculum is prescribed by VTU. Semester exams are of moderate level, and the pass percentage is about 80 to 90. One can easily pass the semester exams.
Other: I chose this course because I want to take only Computer Science and work in that field. I wish the subjects were more practical and related only to our field. The college conducts three main fests, and branch fests are also conducted. The college even conducts sports events, marathons, etc. We also get a scholarship from the state government of about Rs.20,000.

Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology is an overall good college.
Placements: It has a good placement percentage especially for Computer Science and Information Technology students, who have received satisfactory packages. The highest package offered is nearly 15 LPA and the lowest is 1.5 LPA with the average package ranging from 6 LPA to 8 LPA. Top recruiters include Tata Consultancy, Wipro, Flipkart, etc. Internships have been somewhat good for everyone who was offered one. Roles offered by companies include front-end web developer, back-end web developer, web designer, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are comfortable and well-structured with good study facilities, such as desks and boards. Labs are well-developed, and everything is well-equipped, especially computer labs, which provide a good environment for learning. Wi-Fi is available throughout the day, and the library is the best place here. It's a tranquil and relaxing space. The hostels are good enough for students to live in comfortable rooms, and the food is adjustable, as expected. The canteen is the corner where students can relax while enjoying a good amount of snacks.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. They are quite knowledgeable, and every college has its pressure to study, but teachers here help students manage stress and navigate through all the academic work. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry they are aiming for. As I am a 1st-semester student, I am not yet into the semester exams, but from what I've heard from my seniors, exams are moderate.
Other: The best thing about our course is that it connects to the upcoming big events in the future, as this era is moving towards digital sovereignty. The thing that needs improvement is the practical knowledge of students, which should be taken seriously from the beginning. Events and fests like the Freshers' Party (Maitri), Kalarava (Kannada Rajyotsav), and Sanskruthi are celebrated every year, with active participants involved in events that create the heart of these celebrations. Connectivity is good, as students from different colleges are allowed to collaborate with our institution.

A promising engineering college with growing opportunities and strong academics.
Placements: 80% of our branch students are placed during 2024-25. The highest package is 19.75 LA and the average is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS (Tata Consultancy Services), Infosys, Wipro, HCL Technologies, Cognizant, and Tech Mahindra. Top roles are also offered.
Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are spacious and well-ventilated (single, double, or dormitory options). There are comfortable beds, study tables, and storage facilities. 24/7 electricity and Wi-Fi connectivity is available. Common study rooms and discussion halls are also available. College has hygienic and nutritious meals with a variety of options. Special dietary arrangements, like vegetarian, non-vegetarian, Jain food, etc., are available. The dining hall is clean and spacious. There is a RO water purifier for drinking water. Indoor and outdoor games, like chess, carrom, table tennis, football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, and badminton are available. A gymnasium is well-equipped. Yoga and meditation areas are available. There is a 24/7 security with CCTV surveillance, with a biometric or smart card entry system. Warden and hostel staff available for assistance.
Faculty: The college has a team of helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable faculty members who are dedicated to guiding students. Many professors hold advanced degrees and have good teaching experience. However, like most engineering colleges, the teaching quality varies by department and individual faculty. The CSE curriculum is relevant and includes core subjects like programming, data structures, algorithms, and emerging technologies like AI and cloud computing. However, additional self-learning and internships are essential to become fully industry-ready. Practical exposure is improving, but industry collaborations could be stronger. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with a mix of theoretical and practical questions.
Other: I chose CSE because of its huge career opportunities, innovation, and growing demand in industries like AI, software development, cybersecurity, and data science. The field offers creativity, problem-solving, and high-paying jobs, making it a great choice for the future.

The reality of college and hostel.
Placements: The companies like TCS, Google are coming for placements, there is placement around 90% in college. We can easily get placed if we are in this college. It is good for studies, but there is 85% attendance for college attendance. In this year around 85% placements.
Infrastructure: There are good facilities. There is free Wi-Fi but there is no speed, there is a gym in the hostel. The food in the North mess is good, but in the South mess, it is not so good. There is a library for studying and there are so many clubs for intellectual activities.
Faculty: The teachers are so good and they are very helpful. They are knowledgeable, the teachers are very qualified. They are good at teaching quality. There are many clubs for co-curricular activities. It is an autonomous college, and they are putting their question paper for exams.
Other: I chose this course for my ranking, I chose Computer Science and Engineering. It is good for me to choose CS. It has plenty of things to learn in CS. It has better placements. There are only 4 fests in the college, it is good. The campus crowd is very good. There is an SSP Scholarship for financial assistance.

The student's review of our college .
Placements: I joined the course of computer science and business systems. There are 60 students who got selected for this course in our college. TCS company is hiring most of the students in this course. Maybe 40 to 70 percent are getting internships for this course.
Infrastructure: There is good infrastructure in this college, especially since there is a building named Silver Zuble in our college that seems to have awesome infrastructure made up of some kind of glass. Some of the classes also have good infrastructure.
Faculty: Yes, the faculty is average in this college. Some faculty are good, and some faculty are not good enough. Actually, some faculty know something, but they are not expressing their points of view towards students, so I'm giving average to this college faculty.
Other: I've chosen this college through COMEDK. COMEDK is an exam that the whole of India will participate in to get into these Karnataka colleges. I like business system courses, so I've chosen this college. Events and fests are good enough in this college.

The curriculum is not great and needs to be updated a lot.
Placements: The placements this year were better than the last 4 years. Many students got placed this year. The highest was 29 lacs, which was in CS. Average placement was 6-7 lacs. They provide placement classes from the first year, which train children in many ways for the final interview day.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is average. Not too good, not too bad. The classrooms are well ventilated and have good benches. The hostel infrastructure is great. It has all the facilities necessary, and Wi-Fi strength is great. The sports facilities are great.
Faculty: The teachers here are well qualified and knowledgeable. Some teachers are well versed in their field and have Ph.D.s. The teaching quality is great. The course curriculum lab is not on par with the industry level, and it doesn't make students industry ready. The semester exams are moderate. 35% is the pass percentage.
Other: I took computer science and business systems because they were trending in the market. The best thing about my courses is you can get a job easily. I wish they updated the curriculum to make the students industry-level ready. Events, fests, and campus crowds are not that great.

Life at Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology.
Placements: So for this current year, nearly 100 students out of 200 students from our department got internships through campus selection, but the stipend is yet to be disclosed. The top recruiters were TCS, Tech Mahindra, and other foreign companies. The top roles offered are in data analysis, development, testing, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is too old and compact; Wi-Fi is limited to some areas, and the classrooms are congested, like we can't fit more students in a classroom, and it's an old-fashioned class, like teachers use a projector rather than a smart board. The canteen was fine, but it is currently shut down due to some reasons; recently, sports have been given more importance, and a new indoor sports complex has been opened recently.
Faculty: About the exams, it is a best-of-3-internal system and one end-sem exam, which I think is much more feasible but a little hectic, and the curriculum is not well, like we need to study some of the unrelated stuff. Now coming to the faculty, we have some of the best teachers who teach very well and have some teachers whose teaching is beyond our understanding.

Join if you want to have great academics knowledge and location .
Placements: About 60-80 percent are placed in the college, including off-campus placement. Mostly TCS visits our campus every year, and some other companies are also there that used to come. Mostly students from CSE backgrounds go for the internship program in the 3rd year itself.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Library facilities are there. Wi-Fi is available but not that good to work upon that. They offer a variety of courses with a very hectic schedule from 9 am to 4:30 pm. Students used to participate in sports curriculum and played as well for the VTU level. But not as much involvement in the sports.
Faculty: The teacher used to explain the concept in a very great manner. Teaching parts is well taught; there is no need to refer to extra stuff for the preparation of the exams. Some extra courses students have to work on their skill boosting to get completely ready for the college placement.
Other: I got this college for my COMEDK rank for the CSE branch last year, so I got this college. And it's good because of its location.
