Placements: In our campus this year nearly 248 members selected for Infosys. The recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant. Nearly 50 percent of students got placed last year. 40 LPA is the highest package till now. We have internship for one month in 3rd year starting and final year full semester.

Infrastructure: We have labs available in our lab hours and we have LAN connection in labs only. We have vast library with variety of books. We have projectors in our classrooms. We have GMR Care Hospital near to our college. Hostel is not so good to the value of money but not bad.

Faculty: Lecturers teaches only knowledge required for passing exams. Practical knowledge is provided but up to the mark of placements. Course curriculum is not so updated to technologies. Semester exams are not so tough to attempt but we need to study hard to get good marks.

Balanced experience, good placements, supportive faculty, and decent infrastructure.

Placements: I am from the 2025 batch, B.Tech CSE at GMRIT. 75 percent of students are placed. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, the lowest package offered is 3 LPA and average package offered is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini. Nearly 40 percent got internships in TCS, Infosys and startups. Roles offered are Software developer, Tester and Data Analyst.

Infrastructure: My course at GMRIT, the infrastructure is quite good with well equipped computer labs, decent Wi-Fi, smart classrooms and a large central library with both digital and physical resources. Hostel facilities are average but manageable, rooms are clean, and food in the mess is okay. The canteen is better, and medical as well as sports facilities are available.

Faculty: Faculty at GMRIT are mostly helpful, well qualified and supportive. They explain concepts clearly and are approachable after class. The curriculum is relevant and includes practical labs and projects that help with industry exposure. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty and around 85 percent of students usually pass each semester.

Other: I am from the 2024 CSE AI & this batch and chose this course because of my interest in coding and software careers. The best part is the practical labs, projects and coding culture. I wish there are more industry visits and hackathons. GMRIT fests and technical events are lively, the crowd is friendly, the campus surroundings are peaceful, buses connect well, and scholarships support many students.

Placements: The placements are good at GMRIT in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The highest package was 20 LPA, and the lowest package was 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, and TCS. 95 per cent of students got placed in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of GMRIT college is good, and the classrooms are provided with good equipment, such as projectors. It has a central library with a vast collection of books and a digital library. The hostel in GMRIT college is hygienic and clean. They encourage the students in sports.

Faculty: Most of the faculty here are good. They encourage students to develop new projects and help students clear their doubts. The curriculum is based on the topics required for the internship in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The semester exams are very hard.

The highest package is 32-34 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5-2.8 LPA.

Infrastructure: The college has well-equipped classrooms with projectors and digital teaching labs, dedicated department labs for Computer Science and other branches with good computing facilities, and a large central library with a vast collection of books and new editions, as well as a digital library. Maintenance and cleanliness are generally satisfactory in the hostel, with opportunities for sports and fitness encouraged.

Faculty: Teachers were invaluable and supportive towards students. They are friendly in nature. Most of the teaching staff are qualified professionals with knowledge in their respective domains. The course curriculum is relevant to our group and helps prepare students for the industry. The semester exams are very hard, and the corrections are very strict.

Other: There are no other events besides Stepcone and the annual day, which are often focused on academics and sports. There are many rules with no freedom.
