The college has good faculty members but average infrastructure and placements.

Placements: This year, about 30% of students got placed in civil. Most of them received 3.5-5.5 LPA. The average was around 4.5 LPA. Construction companies such as Dilip Buildcon Ltd, Tata Projects, and Hillways Construction Private Limited were the top recruiters. The highest package was 12.75 LPA for the role of Quality Assurance and Quality Check Manager (QA and QC Manager) at Hillways Construction Private Limited.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was average. Classrooms were air-conditioned, with Wi-Fi available in classrooms and in the main building. The library was very noisy as the librarian was not strict. Food in the mess was average, but we could get a special dish with lunch and dinner if we paid extra. On Sundays, we usually have non-veg. If I talked about sports, football, cricket, and volleyball were the most prominent sports that were mostly played. But other indoor and outdoor sports were also available.

Faculty: Most teachers were well-qualified and very supportive. They motivated us to perform well in academics. They guided us like guardians. The course curriculum was very relevant. I could confidently say this because I had compared it with my friends studying in other colleges with the same branch. If I talked about semester exams, the difficulty was not fixed. Sometimes it was difficult, and sometimes moderate.

Other: I chose this college because I was facing a financial crunch. This college was best for students with less money. The college used to organize sports events twice a year, and every year, the Foundation Day festival was organized. There were many locations near the college where we could chill and enjoy the evening, such as the bank of the Hooghly River, where the sunset looked pleasant.
