Techno Main Salt Lake cutoff 2024 has been released for WBJEE, on the basis of which admission to the BE and BTech courses takes place. As per the WBJEE Round 3 cutoff 2023, the closing rank ranged between 6854 and 109730 for students belonging to the General AI category. Among all the BTech specilisations, Computer Science and Engineering was the least competitive course at Techno Main Salt Lake,  with a closing rank of 6854. To get into the BTech programme offered at Techno Main Salt Lake, students are required to fulfil the admission criteria as prescribed by the institute. Aspirants must have passed Class 12 or equivalent in Science stream. Students are shortlisted based on a valid score in either the national or state-level engineering entrance exam (JEE Main, WBJEE). Shortlisted students need to go through the admission process to secure their seat at Techno Main Salt Lake.

CSE is one of the top branches of Techno Main Salt lake College, but I would not suggest it as the first option for B.Tech in CSE. You can try for it if you are not getting any college through JEE Mains or WBJEE rank or can try direct admission in any other college. It does not have any much of campus life and no surety if there are hostels available or not and no clarity on the faculty qualifications also.

The total Tuition fees for B.Tech at Techno Main Salt Lake is 3.7 LPA. For B.Tech in Computer Science there are 120 seats offeredand in B.Tech in Food Technology there are 30 seats offered. There are 150 setas offered in B.Tech in Information Technology. The highest package offered is 14.2 LPA and the minimum package is 4 LPA. TCS, ITC and many other big companies participated in the placement drive.

Though there is no official data available for placements on the official site of Techno main Salt College but according to the students, the highest package offered is 45 LPA with average package of 4-5 LPA. The lowest package was given of 2.8 LPA. The top recruiters are Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte, Google, TCS, IBM, Capgemini, Accenture and many more. For the college which is ranked 4th in West Bengal the placement numbers are a bit low.

Techno main Salt Lake is one of the best private engineering college of west bengal. It offers many courses like animation and design, computer application and it, engineering and architecture etc.

Under Science department there are artificial intelligence, food technology and media science.

Under engineering and architecture department there are all types of conputer Science and engineering, it,    ece, civil, mechanical, electrical, food technology, BCA etc. B.Tech laterals are also included.

Here medicine and allied science,   hospitality and tourism courses, management and business administration courses are also available. Here vlsi design course is available under animation. Techno main also offers MBA and MCA course.

Yes you can take admission in Techno Main Salt Lake  without JEE in B.Tech. You can apply through your WBJEE rank. Admission is based on counseling based on the rank obtained in these exams. The college also offers a 5% free scholarship to students. There is an eligibility criteria. You have to pass 10+2 examination with an agregate of 45%. You must have passed Physics and  Mathematics courses, and select any course from the remaining courses, such as Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, or Technical Vocational.
