Step 1: IISER Pune MSc Application Process 2025

Step 1.4: Read the instructions and provide basic details to generate OTP.

Step 1.5: Log in and fill out the application form.

Step 1.6: Candidates need to pay the IISER MSc application fee.

Step 2: Appear for the Concerned Entrance Exam

IISER Pune accepts different entrance exams for MSc admissions based on specialisation:

• MSc Chemistry & Geology – IIT JAM
• MSc Physics – IIT JAM / GATE (PH, EE, EC, IN, MA, ST, CS, DA)
• MSc Mathematics – IISER’s two-stage written test
• Integrated BS + MS – IISER Aptitude Test (IAT)

Step 3: Release of Merit List

Based on the candidates' achieved scores in the valid entrance exams, the institute releases the merit list. Usually, the merit list is released in June. A ranked merit list is generated based on performance and category-specific criteria. Step 4: Admission Confirmation

Once the merit list is released, a seat allotment list is declared, containing the roll numbers of candidates who have been allocated seats in the MSc programme. Moreover.
