For 2023, cut off was 3632 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering at IIT Indore - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 7527 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 3599 and closing rank was 3828. The list was released for different categories belonging to the All India quota. Among the General AI category, the cutoff ranks were closed between the range of 581 and 4510. Therefore, if student want to seek admission irrespective of the coursre specialisation, then they must attain a rank of 4510 or below. However, if the target is top branches, such as CSE or Mathematics, then it will be difficult to get admission at this rank.
