IIT Jammu is around 13 km away from Jammu Railway Station. From Jammu Railway Station, students can take a bus going to Katra or take a prepaid taxi or auto rickshaw to reach the campus. Pre-Paid SIM cards from other states do not work in J&K. Students may get a postpaid connection before reaching Jammu.
