IIT Patna admission 2026 is entrance-based. With large number of applications and limited seats, admissions are compeitive at IIT Patna. The institute offers admission to its flagship BTech programme based on JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced scores. The seats are allotted in BTech course via JoSAA Counselling. No, the GATE cutoffs for IIT Patna 2025 admissions are currently unknown. The only availabe cutoff data for MSc admissions at IIT Patna comes from IIT JAM. The GATE cutoffs may differ from the IIT JAM however, the difficulty of both exams is relatively the same. Hence, candidates can expect similar

The last date to apply for the July session of IIT Patna PhD admissions was March 4th 2026. Candidates who have appeared for the UGC NET before or are qualified for direct PhD admissions can apply for the IIT Patna PhD admissions.
