The college is decent. If students want to do a job, then definitely join this course.
Placements: This course was started in 2023, so there is no placement record. However, some students get the internship. The college fully supports us in placements. Big companies like Flipkart, Amazon, and Wipro visit the college to hire students. Students with good communication skills get selected.
Infrastructure: The hostel was good. All the facilities were available. Classrooms were also good. Food was good and medical facilities were available. Many tournaments were going on. So many games were available in college. The canteen was quite good and needs some improvement.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and exams were quite difficult. The course curriculum was relevant. Teachers were top-notch, and they helped the students. The teaching quality was fabulous, and they had a lot of knowledge. In exams, the pass percentage was average, and students tried their best.
Other: I had no option, so I have chosen this course.

Totally a disgusting course. Please avoid this course.
Placements: This is a hybrid mode course that was started last year by IIT Patna. They promised to provide internships from the second semester, but they are not doing so.
The first thing is that they take admission of every single student who applies for admission; there is no merit-based admission.
At the time of admission, they promised about a 100 percent placement guarantee, but now when we ask the faculty about placement, they don't want to answer; they just move on to the next question. If you are thinking of taking this course due to the name of IIT involved in this, please don't go for this course; the facilities are like, just bad.
Infrastructure: As I mentioned, this is a hybrid course, so you don't get experience of college life. You have to do classes from your home in online mode so you don't get access to your college. As per the day of orientation, the campus of IIT Patna is very good. The total area of campus is 550 acres, but hybrid mode students can access that all.
Faculty: We don't get opportunity to meet our teachers during orientation so that we don't know about them more but according to them, they are working professionals who is working in corporate world and doing teaching job as a side hustle. We have to give 1 assignment and 1 quiz every 2 weeks.
Then, at the end of the semester, we have to give one final examination.
The quiz carries 20 points, the assignment 30 points, and the final exam 50 points.
Other: I take this course because of IIT Patna fake hope like a 100 percent placement guarantee, providing teachers of IIM, and so many other things, but that was not the reality. The quality of online classes is very bad. If you ask about improvement, then they have to improve everything, like the quality of online classes and the quality of teachers, and they should start taking admission on the basis of merit to avoid rushing.

Reasons to choose IIT BBA over other BBA.
Placements: Basically, we are the first batch of this program so saying anything about placements would be totally wrong but I think they will provide placements as they promised. But I am quoting this thing, it won't be like B.Tech programs because our mode of learning is online or distance, and the outcome employers or college expected might not be the same.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college is good. Hostels contain all the things that are needed, like Wi-Fi, lifts, water coolers, and other things. They do have study tables and wardrobes also. We have washing machines too for washing clothes. Classrooms are also modern. We have AC, Wi-Fi, and a place for our laptops in our classroom. Mess food for us is bad. Otherwise for B.Tech its best. Our mess food is pathetic. Medical services are not there for us as far as I know.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely qualified, and they are from one of the best institutions like IIM and best industry like KPMG and EY. Teaching quality is best as far as online is concerned Course curriculum is relevant as it is indistry focused but mode of learning is online which makes it little doubtable. Semester exams are quite moderate level, and pass percentage is 60 to 70%.

Review of IIT Patna - Indian Institute of Technology.
Placements: There are around 200 students in our batch. About 75% of students got placements. Amazon, ITC, Infosys, Flipkart, and Microsoft are some recruiting companies. Our course is BBA. Roles offered to our course students are manager, accountant, and marketing.
Infrastructure: Well-structured classroom with proper arrangements like nice lighting, wi-fi, labs, libraries, etc. Hostel, mess and canteen facilities are excellent. Proper medical treatment are available. Games and sports at different level are organised by college.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. This course is worthy. Semester exams are held in online mode as BBA is a hybrid course. Top Faculty members are hired with the best teaching qualities. There is a friendly environment between teachers and students.
Other: Games and sports at different levels are organised by our college.

If you want to pursue an MBA from IIM, come to IIT Patna BBA.
Placements: A minimum of 55% obtained students are placed in my course. Students from any branch can take admission in it. I'm in the second batch, and the first batch will graduate in 2026. So, we don't know about the placements, but the internships are good. The recruiting companies are ISRO, Wipro, Deloitte, etc. More than 7 CGPA students got internships. Students having good knowledge and skills got internships in ISRO, Vast Vihar, etc. The role offered is as a data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Everything is good, but the water condition is bad. It has super-fast Wi-Fi available in classrooms. The hostels are good and available at cheap rates. The library is accessible to hybrid students. The quality of food is good, and it's available in both the mess and the canteen. The medical facilities are available, but outdoor games are not available for hybrid students.
Faculty: The teachers are so talented and good from IIM, and very knowledgeable and experienced from Deloitte. Many are CAs, and they are very good teachers. This course is aligned with CA, CS, CMA, etc., and it's an industry-ready programme. 100% is the pass percentage. Overall, it's good.
Other: I chose this course because I want to pursue a BBA from a good, reputed college. Online exams and classes are good. Events are generally cancelled at the last minute, so the management needs to improve this.

New course, New approach IIT PATNA
Placements: Placements are IITs are always Amazing, but knowing the fact that this is a new course by iit patna As per NEP 2020, i do not have any data as i am in the first year of BBA course! The officials of IITP have said we will get internships and 100% placement assistance as well.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is great, during my 15 days campus immersion I enjoyed and felt the vibe of IITP Hostels were neat and clean food was awesome... the classrooms was superb as well so is library as a student you can grab any book and study in that quiet place inside library so totally it was amazing experience!
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable the teaching quality is very nice although classes are online but we learn so much during our class, special doubt sessions are arranged for every subject which is a very important aspect of learning.
Absolutely this course has been designed in a way to cater industry needs.
Exams are easy just need few days of preparation and you can easily pass it.
Other: I choosed this course because of few reasons
1) IIT TAG
2) I wanted to learn business processes and marketing and offcourse about how business works!
Yeah there is always a scope of improvement
During my campus immersion they organised fests, (spandan) and it was a very nice experience during the fest. Also internships session were held

No, the GATE cutoffs for IIT Patna 2025 admissions are currently unknown. The only availabe cutoff data for MSc admissions at IIT Patna comes from IIT JAM. The GATE cutoffs may differ from the IIT JAM however, the difficulty of both exams is relatively the same. Hence, candidates can expect similar

No, the GATE registrations for IIT Patna 2026 MSc admissions are no longer open. The GATE registrations were closed in the month of November 2025. The GATE is scheduled to take place in the month of February 2026. Candidates who failed to register for the GATE are required to wait for the GATE 2027

IIT Patna MSc students are required to pay a total of INR 4 Lacs towards the insurance charge during the duration of the MSc course. The insurance charge is paid in two annual at INR 2 Lacs per annum.

The tuition fees for BTech courses at IIT Patna is INR 8 Lacs at this point. For integrated BTech courses that have a duration of five years, the tuition fees is INR 10 lakh.
