The GATE 2026 registrations are ongoing for admission to ME/MTech courses, and the deadline for registration with late fee payment has been extended to Oct 13, 2025. The GATE 2026 exam will be conducted on Feb 7, Feb 8, Feb 14, and Feb 15, 2026.

- The JEE Main 2026 registration process for the first session for IIT Patna admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses is expected to start in Oct 2025.
- The IIT JAM 2026 registration has now begun for admission to the MSc course. The last date to register is tentatively Oct 12, 2025. Furthermore, the exam will be held on Feb 15, 2026.

IIT Patna accepts multiple state/national entrance exams other than JEE for admission to BSc courses. NEET, CUET, BITSAT, etc., are other exams accepted by the institute. The NEET 2025 admit card was released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on April 30, 2025, four days before the exam date. NEET 2025 was held on May 4, 2025.
Prior to the release of the NEET admit card, NTA released the advance intimation of exam city slip on April 23, 2025, a week before releasing the NEET 2025 admit card. The document mentions the city of the NEET exam centre allotted to candidates. Generally, NTA does not release the NEET admit card release date in advance. NTA will release the CUET admit card 2026 online. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards online at cuet.nta.nic.in. The admit card will be available for download in PDF document and is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam centre. Prior to the release of the CUET UG admit card, NTA will release the advance intimation of exam city slip. It is not the admit card, but will inform candidates about the city. After downloading the CUET UG 2026 admit card, candidates will have to check all the details carefully and ensure that there is no mistake. In case of any error, they will have to contact NTA to get the necessary corrections done.
BITSAT 2026 application form dates are yet to be announced. The authorities will release the BITSAT 2026 application form link at the official website - bitsadmission.com. Candidates will have to fill out and submit the application form of BITSAT 2026 before the final date, which will be announced soon. The authorities will not accept applications after the last date. While filling out the BITSAT application form, the candidates will have to provide their personal, academic and contact details.
