Visva Bharati University Admission through CUET

The CUET UG counselling registration for Visva Bharati University for the academic year 2026-27 will commence in the third week of July 2026. The Visva Bharati University CUET counselling registration process will be conducted on the official Samarth Portal. The university offers admission to 53 Four-Year undergraduate courses in different majors and B.Sc. (Hons) course through CUET. Upon the release of the application form, candidates must register by paying the non-refundable registration fee before the deadline. The university will also open a correction window for two days during which candidates can make changes to their online form, except for their profile section.

The Visva Bharati University is a CUET participating central university, which provides admission to UG courses based on NTA score and course-wise eligibility criteria for different categories, including UR, OBC, SC, & ST. The university will release its course-wise & category-wise CUET UG Cut Off List based on which eligible candidates seeking admission for the UG programmes can participate in the counselling process.

A: 

After obtaining the CUET results, candidates will be able to apply for CUET counselling for various participating universities. To apply for CUET UG counselling, candidates can follow the process below;

  • Register for the CUET cousnelling process on official website of participating university
  • Fill the CUET UG admission application form like CSAS UG for DU, BHU UET application form for BHU and so forth.
  • Upload the CUET UG scorecard or enter the marks obtained in the eligible subjects
  • Declaration of admission status/ CUET cut off
  • Visit the university for verification of documents and pay the admission fee
Q:   How many seats are offered through CUET UG counselling?
A: 

The number of seats offered through CUET UG counselling is not certain, it is estimated to be approximately 10,000 seats. Seat availability depends on course and university that candidate has applied for. Candidates can check the university wise CUET counselling seats on its repective official website.

Q:   When will the CUET UG counselling process commence?
A: 

CUET UG counselling process schedule is announced by the participating universities after the declaration of CUET results. The process will be conducted separately by the universities and it will not be a centralised counselling system. The CUET 2025 counselling process will have the following stages:

  • Each participating institute will release its individual rank list of candidates who are eligible to participate in the counselling process of CUET 2025.
  • Candidates will have to register online and then appear in online counselling followed by offline counselling.
  • Upon seat allotment, candidates will have to pay the admission fee and report to institutes to accept the admission offer.

Five years integrated M.Sc Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology (all compulsory)
  • UR: Regular Science students secured at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in class XII (10 + 2) examination.
  • OBC: Regular Science students secured at least 54% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in class XII (10 + 2) examination.
  • SC & ST: Regular Science students passed in Pre-degree or equivalent examination under the 10 + 2 pattern.

Candidates need to upload scanned copies of a few documents during the registration procedure. The documents must be in PDF / JPEG format. Below is the list of documents.

CUET result 2026 will be declared tentatively in first week of July 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download their CUET scorecard online when released. The link to download the CUET scorecard will be available at CUET results 2026. Candidates will be required to enter the login credentials to view the CUET 2026 scorecard online. CUET scores are used for admission to various universities/colleges that candidates has applied for while filling the application form. Candidates must download and take the print of the CUET 2026 results when released. CUET UG 2026 exam is ongoing.

Q:   What is CUET result date?

NTA will announce the CUET result 2026 tentatively in first week of July. CUET UG result 2026 will be announced at cuet.nta.nic.in online. Visva Bharati University CUET UG Admission 2026

Visva Bharati University offers admission to various UG Courses through CUET via eight of its Affiliated Colleges. These include Siksha Bhavana (Institute of Science), Vinaya Bhavana (Institute of Education and Physical Education), Palli Samgathana Vibhaga (Institute of Rural Reconstruction), Palli Siksha Bhavana (Institute of Agriculture Science), Bhasha Bhavana (Institute of Languages, Literature and Culture), Vidya Bhavana (Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences), Kala Bhavana (Institute of Fine Arts), and Sangit Bhavana (Institute of Music, Dance and Drama). Each Vibhaga/Bhavana offers different undergraduate programmes.

Candidates planning to get admission to Visva Bharati University must first register themselves at its official admission portal.

How to Register on Visva Bharati University Portal?

Know the process to register for admission at Visva Bharati University.

  1. Visit the official Visva Bharati University Samarth Portal - visvabharaticuet.samarth.edu.in
  2. Click on "New Registration".
  3. Enter your CUET Application Number
  4. Enter your Date of Birth.
  5. Enter the Captcha
  6. Click on Register.
  7. You will receive an email at your registered email I'd from noreply@samarth.edu.in with a verification code to verify your registration.
  8. Enter the OTP to verify your account.
  9. Enter the Captcha
  10. Click on "Submit OTP".
  11. Once the account is verified successfully, log in to start the application process.

After registering yourself at Visva Bharati University, you have to log in once again to fill out the application form. To do so, follow the given below process carefully:

  1. Click on tab Online Application Form. The application form page will open up.
  2. Under Registered User Login, enter your CUET Application Number as username.
  3. Enter your secret password.
  4. Enter the Captcha & click on login.
  5. Click on Complete Profile to fill in registration details (Profile, Other, and document upload)
  6. Review each step of the application form and click on Save & Next.
  7. Upload the required documents carefully in the described format and size.
  8. Pay a non-refundable registration fee based on your category.

Visva Bharati University CUET UG Admission 2026: Cut Off

For admission to offered undergraduate courses, Visva Bharati University will release a course-wise merit list for each Bhavana/Vibhaga. Candidates can check the Visva Bharati University CUET UG Cut Off on the university's official website. The university allows candidates to appear for CUET counselling process based on NTA scores. Eligible candidates are advised to keep a hard copy of the required documents with them in advance to avoid any delay or issues during counselling.

CUET UG result 2026 will be declared tentatively in first week of July 2026 at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download the scorecard online. Candidates on downloading the CUET 2026 scorecard, must check for the following details mentioned on the scorecard:

  • Application number
  • Roll number
  • Candidate's name
  • Mother's name
  • Father's name
  • Category
  • Gender
  • Person with benchmark disability (PwBD)
  • Date of birth
  • Candidate's signature
  • Candidate's photograph
  • Scorecard details in percentile and normalised score

Candidates must note that after the issue of CUET UG scorecard, no request for re-evaluation of the scores will be entertained under any circumstances.

Q:   How many rounds are conducted in CUET counselling?

The frequency of CUET counselling rounds is dependent on:

  • Availability of seats
  • Number of vacant seat after each round
  • CUET cut-off 
Q:   I have filled in for 3 domain subjects in CUET. How will it affect my result if I only attempt 2 of it?
A: 

While filling the CUET application form, candidates are advised to carefully mark the subjects from languages, domain subjects and general test. Candidates must check the institute wise subject requirement for the course candidate wishes to apply for. If the candidate has applied for four CUET domain subjects and appears for three subjects, it may affect the overall percentile of the candidate. However, if the domain subjects for which the student has appeared, qualify as per the institute’s course requirement, they will be eligible for admission process.

Q:   Who conducts CUET UG counselling?
A: 

The CUET UG counselling is conducted by the universities acepting CUET UG scores seperately. Candidates will have to apply seperately for each university to appear for the CUET UG counselling process. National Testing Agency (NTA) has no role in conduction counselling process for CUET UG admissions. The participating universities conduct CUET counselling on the basis of candidate's CUET score and college preferences. The candidates are supposed to fill the forms for college and course for seat allotment. Candidates must stay updated with the important dates for admission to participating universities.
