Visva Bharati University Admission through CUET

Visva Bharati University counselling registration 2025 has started on the official Samarth portal. Visva Bharati University, one of the central universities of India, is offering admission to 53 Four-Year undergraduate programmes in different majors and one B.Sc. (Hons) course through CUET. Candidates must register themseleves by paying the non-refundable application fee on or before the last date. Once the registration process is over, the university will open a correction window for two days. During this time period, candidates can edit or modify their application form, except for the profile section. 

For the 2025-2026 academic cycle, Visva Bharati University will provide UG courses based on NTA score and course-wise eligibility criteria for different categories, including UR, OBC, SC, & ST. The university will release its course-wise & category-wise CUET UG Cut Off List based on which eligible candidates seeking admission for the UG programmes can participate in the counselling process.

Q:   How to apply for counselling after CUET?
A:

After obtaining the CUET results, candidates will be able to apply for CUET counselling for various participating universities. To apply for CUET UG counselling, candidates can follow the process below;

  • Register for the CUET cousnelling process on official website of participating university
  • Fill the CUET UG admission application form like CSAS UG for DU, BHU UET application form for BHU and so forth.
  • Upload the CUET UG scorecard or enter the marks obtained in the eligible subjects
  • Declaration of admission status/ CUET cut off
  • Visit the university for verification of documents and pay the admission fee
Q:   When will the CUET UG counselling process commence?
A:

CUET UG counselling process schedule is announced by the participating universities after the declaration of CUET results. The process will be conducted separately by the universities and it will not be a centralised counselling system. The CUET 2025 counselling process will have the following stages:

  • Each participating institute will release its individual rank list of candidates who are eligible to participate in the counselling process of CUET 2025.
  • Candidates will have to register online and then appear in online counselling followed by offline counselling.
  • Upon seat allotment, candidates will have to pay the admission fee and report to institutes to accept the admission offer.

4-Year Undergraduate Programme in Rural Studies (Major) General Test

Candidates from Science stream, Commerce stream and Social Science stream (having pass marks at least three subjects from the following: Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Sociology, Anthropology, Philosophy, Education, Psychology, Home Science and Agriculture) are eligible to apply.

  • UR: 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English Subject at 10 + 2 level.
  • OBC: 45% marks in aggregate and 45% marks in English Subject at 10 + 2 level
  • SC/ST: Pass marks at 10 + 2 level.
Five years integrated M.Sc Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology (all compulsory)
  • UR: Regular Science students secured at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in class XII (10 + 2) examination.
  • OBC: Regular Science students secured at least 54% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in class XII (10 + 2) examination.
  • SC & ST: Regular Science students passed in Pre-degree or equivalent examination under the 10 + 2 pattern.

*Also the students should have passed each of the four subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics

These include Siksha Bhavana (Institute of Science), Vinaya Bhavana (Institute of Education and Physical Education), Palli Samgathana Vibhaga (Institute of Rural Reconstruction), Palli Siksha Bhavana (Institute of Agriculture Science), Bhasha Bhavana (Institute of Languages, Literature and Culture), Vidya Bhavana (Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences), Kala Bhavana (Institute of Fine Arts), and Sangit Bhavana (Institute of Music, Dance and Drama). Each Vibhaga/Bhavana offers different undergraduate programmes.

Q:   Does NTA announce CUET counselling dates?
A:

No, National Testing Agency does not announce the CUET dates for counselling. The role of NTA ends soon after the declaration of CUET UG results. To know the CUET counselling sates, candidates must visit the official website of university they desire to take admission in. Every CUET participating university will release its own admission through CUET UG schedule.

Q:   Who conducts CUET UG counselling?
A:

The CUET UG counselling is conducted by the universities acepting CUET UG scores seperately. Candidates will have to apply seperately for each university to appear for the CUET UG counselling process. National Testing Agency (NTA) has no role in conduction counselling process for CUET UG admissions. The participating universities conduct CUET counselling on the basis of candidate's CUET score and college preferences. The candidates are supposed to fill the forms for college and course for seat allotment. Candidates must stay updated with the important dates for admission to participating universities.

Yes, candidates must have CUET UG score to apply for admissions at University of Delhi. Admission to UG courses of DU is offered through CUET UG scores. DU releases the CUET UG DU cut off for courses and colleges. Only candidates meeting the cut off criteria will be offered final admission to the desired course. 

Step 1: Click on the tab “Online Application Form”. Application Form page will open up.

Step 2: Under the "Registered User Login" Enter your CUET Application Number as username.

Step 3: Enter your secret password.

Step 4: Enter the Captcha & click on login.

Step 5: Click on “Complete Profile” to fill in the registration details (Profile, Other, and document upload)

Step 6: Review each step of the application form and click on 'Save & Next'.

Step 7: Upload the required documents carefully in the described format and size.

Step 8: Pay the non-refundable registration fee based on your category.

Visva Bharati University CUET UG Admission 2025: Cut Off

Visva Bharati University will soon release a Course-wise Merit List for each Bhavana/Vibhaga on its official website. Once released, candidates can check the Visva Bharati University CUET UG Cut Off and participate in the CUET UG Counselling based on their NTA Scores. Eligible candidates are advised to keep a hard copy of the required documents with them in advance to avoid any delay or issues during counselling.

You can't do BBA from CUET with PCB in 12 th as CUET requires the same subjects as in 12th for BBA you need math's English and general test

No, Bapuji Academy of Management & Research (BAMR) is not under CUET. The academy accepts the scores of certain other entrance exams such as, MAT/PGCET/KMAT. Candidates who have passed graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for reserved category) can apply for admission.

No, Terna Global Business School is not under CUET. Rather the college accepts scores of various other entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, GMAT, MAT, MAH-CET, etc. Candidates are not required to appear for the CUET exam rather they must appear for any of these exams.
