The last date to fill the IICD Application form is March 31, 2026. Forms are available online. The online application fee (Non Refundable) of Rs. 1750/- (Rs. One Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty only) is to be paid through online portal during the filling of the Registration form.

The Indian Institute of Crafts and Design (IICD) conducts the IICD exam in a center-based mode across 16 cities in India - Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Chandigarh, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jammu, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Raipur, Udaipur

Eligibility Criteria for IICD UG Courses
- IICD entrance exam eligibility criteria for admission in UG courses are such that candidates need to pass Class XII in any stream from a recognised board.
- Candidates who are appearing for their qualifying exam can also apply for the design entrance exam. However, if selected, the admission of such candidates will be provisional, subject to submitting the required eligibility certificates by the stipulated date mentioned by IICD.
- In case any candidate fails to submit the required certificates by the stipulated date, his/her admission to IICD will be cancelled. In such a scenario, IICD admission fees paid by the candidate for the first semester will not be refunded, according to the official website.
Eligibility Criteria for IICD PG Courses
- All candidates should have graduated from a recognised university with a Design and Architecture background. The official website of the institute informs, "Candidates who are Design/ Architecture graduates can be directly admitted to the 2-year MVoc programme after clearing the entrance test."
- It may be noted that candidates who have graduated from a discipline other than Design and Architecture are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates will be "eligible for MVoc after completion of 1 Year PG foundation offered at IICD, which means MVoc will be 3 years for non-design background graduates," informs the official website.
