UCEED Exams are approaching. The pressure to complete the syllabus and revise everything is too much. So make this process a bit simpler, we have collected some questions that are repeated in UCEED most of the time. Read on to find more.
UCEED Entrance Exam will be conducted by IIT Bombay on January 18, 2026 from 9 AM to 12 PM. The exam will be conducted at the UCEED Test centres. The reporting time of UCEED Entrance Test is 7 AM. It is mandatory to bring UCEED Hall ticket to the centre. Admit card is available on the website. Candidates can download it till January 18, 2026.
UCEED 2026 exam Part A will have 57 questions, and Part B will have 2 questions - one question will be drawing-based, while the other question will be aptitude-based. The test duration for Part A will be of 200 marks and 2 hours, and Part B will be of 100 marks and 1 hour.

UCEED 2026 question paper will have questions from Numerical Answer Type (NAT) in Section 1. There will be 18 questions of 4 marks each. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. Exam was on January 18, 2026.
The UCEED 2026 question paper for Part A will include three sections.
It will include 28 Multiple Select Questions (MSQs). Each MSQ may have one or more than one correct choice (s) out of the four given.
The following marking scheme will be followed for MSQ-type questions:
- Full Marks: + 4 If only (all) the correct option (s) is (are) chosen and None of the incorrect options is chosen.
- Partial Marks: + 3 If all four options are correct but ONLY three options are chosen, and None of the incorrect options is chosen.
- Partial Marks: + 2 If three or more options are correct but ONLY two options are chosen, both of which are correct and None of the incorrect options is chosen.
- Partial Marks: + 1 If two or more options are correct but ONLY one option is chosen and it is a correct option and None of the incorrect options is chosen.
- Zero Marks: 0 If None of the options is chosen (i.e., the question is unanswered). Negative Marks: -1 In all other cases.
IIT Bombay which is the exam conducting body of UCEED 2025 will prepare the question paper for the entrance exam. The question paper of UCEED 2025 will include two parts - Part A and Part B. It is mandatory for candidates to appear in both the parts and also qualify Part A. Note that Part B answer booklet will only be evaluated if the candidate qualifies Part A.
Note that IIT Bombay has revised the syllabus for the UCEED 2025 exam. Now Part B of the question paper will include two questions - one question will be aptitude-based, while the second question will be sketching-based. The test duration for Paper B has also been increased to 60 minutes (from 30 minutes).

Candidate needs to remember following points about Part B question paper of UCEED 2026.
- Part B will include TWO questions. Question for section will be shown on the computer monitor.
- Candidate, after reading the question, has to write/ draw the answer option in the answer booklet provided by the invigilator.
- Part B test will evaluate the drawing ability and Design Aptitude of the candidate.
- Part B is mandatory and will only be evaluated if the candidate qualifies for Part A.
- The cut-off marks for Part A will be declared by IIT Bombay before the declaration of results.
The UCEED question paper will be of 3 hours and include two parts - The computer-based Part A and the offline-based Part B. It is mandatory for candidates to appear in both the paper. The following type of questions are mostly asked in UCEED Exam.

If you have biology as a subject in 10+2, then you can apply for B.Des programme at IIITDM Jabalpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Indore.
To apply at IIITDM, you need to have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects in 10+2.

No, you cannot apply for B.Des programme at IIT Roorkee even if you have cleared the UCEED Entrance Exam because Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are compulsory subjects in 10+2. But you can apply for B.Des programme at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Indore.
