IICD application form 2026 - The Indian Institute of Crafts and Design (IICD) online application form is open for B.Des and M.Des programmes.

To apply for the IICD exam, the candidate needs to fill in their personal, academic, and contact details, upload documents, and pay the application fee. The IICD online application fee (Non-Refundable) of Rs. 1750/- is to be paid through the online portal during the filling of the Registration form.

Candidates who complete the application process will be issued IICD 2026 admit cards. The IICD 2026 entrance exam will have two parts: 1) Part A will be a General Awareness, Creativity & Perception Test, while 2) Part B will include a Material, Color & Conceptual Test, b. Personal Interview.

IICD 2026 Entrance Tests will be conducted in two parts, Part A - General Awareness, Creativity & Perception Test of 35% weightage. Part B will be based on  a. Material, Colour & Conceptual Test of 45% weightage), b. Personal Interview of 20% weightage.

Q:   When will IICD 2026 Result be declared?
A: 

IICD 2026 result will be declared on May 15, 2026. It will be declared online. Declaration of result and Provisional Admissions (2nd Round) will be on June 02, 2026.

Steps to fill IICD Entrance Exam Application Form

To register for IICD 2026 entrance exam, candidates must go to the website and click on application link.

Get registered and fill in the details.

  • Personal details: Fill in details like name, date of birth, gender, marital status, category (SC/ ST/ OBC/ General), nationality, domicile residence of Rajasthan state, mobile number, email ID, father's name, mother's name, mobile number (parents), email ID (parents), and family income per annum in rupees.
  • Address: Enter both the correspondence and permanent address.
  • Preferences for entrance test center: A maximum of THREE preferences (in order of priority) can be entered.
  • 10+2 or equivalent qualifications: In this section, candidates need to enter details such as passing year, stream, and board/ school name of Class XII.
  • Degree qualifications: Similar to details for 10+2 qualifications, here candidates can put passing year, stream, and college/ university name of bachelor’s degree.
  • Language known: Here, specify level of proficiency (speak/ read/ write) in Hindi and English.
  • Preferences for specialisation: Candidates need to put three preferences (in order of priority) for course specialisations.
  • Document uploading: Upload three documents, a photo, Class X certificate, and a photo ID proof. It may be noted that the size of all three documents should be less than 4mb. Also, the format of the documents should be JPG/PNG/PDF.

Pay the IICD Entrance Exam Application Fee

Once all details are entered, pay IICD entrance exam 2026 application fee online (debit card/ credit card/ internet banking) or offline (via DD).

IICD exam will be conducted at 16 locations in India. The IICD entrance exam will include two parts, Part A and Part B.

  • Part A will be a General Awareness, Creativity & Perception Test
  • Part B will include two parts. a. Material, Color & Conceptual Test and b. Personal Interview

This General Awareness, Creativity & Perception Test will check abilities and interests of the students on parameters like sizes and proportions, observation, visual interpretation and general awareness.
