The college has excellent faculty, well-equipped labs, and impressive infrastructure.

Placements: Placement opportunities are scarce here. Only 30% of total students get placed. While CSE and IT branch students got placed to some extent, core branches are struggling. This year renowned companies like Reliance and L&T visited campus but unfortunately didn't make any offers. If you are considering this institute for placement prospects, I think you should think carefully.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is a bit nice for a state engineering college. There is a library, labs, nice classrooms, etc. Hostels are also very nice for boys and girls. Both hostels are available. The food is nice. Facilities are good. Labs are well-equipped. Hostel and college life are good.

Faculty: For teachers, I am giving 5 stars. Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach very efficiently. The curriculum is very nice. Exams are a little tough but I think that's fine. But the main thing is in state colleges, there is some scheme going on in which you complete your final year from IIT Indore and Mannit. It is nice.

Other: If you are aiming to prepare for some exams like UPSC and GATE, this college is good for you. In Jabalpur, coaching is not available, so you have to prepare online.

A very honest review of Jabalpur Engineering College.

Placements: Hello students! In Jabalpur Engineering College, every year, around 60 percent of students get placement offers. The highest placement package is 30 LPA and the lowest placement package is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tata, TCS, Infosys, Reliance, etc.

Infrastructure: Jabalpur engineering college has better classrooms which have fans, smartboards, old benches, etc. The college has better labs for every subject. Jabalpur Engineering College has a very big and very good library. The college has a very big campus and very good sports facilities.

Faculty: All the teachers in Jabalpur Engineering College are very good, very friendly, highly qualified and very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. But the course curriculum is very old in the civil branch. The semester exam is very tough; you need to study properly.

Other: I think the management is very strict and does not talk properly.

Candidate must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Maths & Chemistry/ Biotech./ Biology/ Tech. Voc. subject/ Comp. Sc./ IT/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business studies as optional subjects with the above-mentioned aggregate percentage (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates (except Creamy layer) candidates belonging to Madhya Pradesh) in subjects taken together. Candidates passed 10+2 with grading system, must have grades equi. to mentioned aggregate %. Candidates who had passed 10+2 with grace marks in any subject can also apply provided they have scored mentioned aggregate % excluding grace marks. Result awaited student are also eligible on provisional basis. OR Candidate who have passed Diploma in Engg. & Tech. examination with at least 45% masks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (excluding creamy layer) category of Madhya Pradesh) Subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Counselling
Admission is through counselling based on the score obtained in Madhya Pradesh Pre-Engineering Test (MP-PET) conducted by Vyapam, the Professional Examination Board of Madhya Pradesh.
