This is all about my college, Jabalpur Engineering College, it is in Gokulpur near Ranjhi pincod.
Placements: I am in the Mechanical branch. 80% of students got placed. All companies visit the campus for recruitment. According to the college, students got good placements. Consultant roles, good MNCs, and associate engineer roles at Larsen & Toubro, Tata Consultancy Services, Lenskart, and many more are available.
Infrastructure: The hostel accommodation is the best. It's the cheapest of all I've thought about this hostel. The campus is about 400 acres. I think this is the cheapest because the yearly fee for a hostel is Rs. 1800 only, which is Rs. 150 per month. All rooms are good, and there are a total of 8 hostels.
Faculty: The faculty members are good because it is a fully government college. All faculty are supportive, and they help students to do all the preparation.

Jabalpur Engineering College reality.
Placements: In Jabalpur Engineering College, also known as JEC, there is approximately 45%-55% placement in all courses. JEC has a training and placement cell that helps students get placed with the best companies; because of this, it improves the percentage of placement. Here, JEC has the highest package of 11 LPA in my course, with the lowest of 4 LPA, and the average package offered in my course is approximately 7 LPA. TCS and IBM are the top recruiting companies for my courses. Now, if we talk about internship percentage, from my course, 85% of students get internships in various companies like Amazon and Google.
Infrastructure: The college was established in 1947, so its infrastructure is from that era. It is a bit old, but the college maintains it well. Modern facilities have been added, too. The campus spans 255 acres; this area includes department buildings, sports facilities, hostels, a canteen, parking facilities, and other amenities. The college has a huge library with free Wi-Fi access. The quality of hostels is very good, and the quality of food available in the mess and canteen is decent.
Faculty: Each faculty member came here through a government selection process, which makes the college faculty more experienced and effective. They help students even after class. If any student faces any kind of problems, they can go to the teachers. They don’t discriminate. Here at JEC, the curriculum is up to date, making students industry-ready. We can say semester exams are quite difficult, but not that much; you just need to clear all 5 subjects in a semester to pass.
Other: Jabalpur Engineering College is a government engineering college under RGPV, Bhopal. It is one of the oldest and most reputed colleges of Madhya Pradesh, and that is why I chose it. The college also has good placement, results, affordable fees, etc. There are so many clubs on campus, like "DanceOn" for dance, "Raag" for singing, technical clubs, etc. Every year there is a fest, which includes different activities, workshops, etc. Recently, the college organized its own TEDx talk session.

Decent infrastructure, but faculty needs improvement.
Placements: The percentage of students got placed from course is 50%-60%. The highest package is approximately 10 LPA and the average package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, HCL, TCS, etc. The percentage of students got internships is approximately 20%. Roles offered is IT engineer.
Infrastructure: The facilities of course are good. Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms are furnished and a library is present to self study. The hostel facilities are good. It provides us with enough things and the food available is average. Medical facilities are very near and sports grounds are available for every game.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified having Ph.D. degree in a particular subject. They are very knowledgeable. Teaching quality is acceptable. Course curriculum is relevant. They make students industry-ready with little your efforts. Semester exams are moderately easy to pass.

The college is value for money and good infrastructure.
Placements: The average placement in Jabalpur Engineering College is 30%- 40%. The highest package is 10 LPA and the average is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Reliance, HTC, etc. The percentage of students who got internships is something 30%. The top role offered in course is mechanical engineer.

Overall, facilities of the college are value for money. Faculty members are great.
Placements: 40-50% of students got placements in good companies. The highest package in the mechanical course is 9 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are the Tata Group, Godrej Group, Reliance, Larsen and Toubro, etc. 30-40% of students got internships from our college in the Tata and Reliance companies. The role offered is a mechanical engineer.
Infrastructure: Facilities of the college are very nice. All classrooms are very well furnished. Wi-Fi and the library are well-designed. The quality of facilities in the hostel is average. The quality of food is good here. Medical facilities are close to the hostel. A ground is well prepared for every sport.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. All teachers are qualified and pass the entrance exams to enter. The course curriculum is very relevant to the industry. Students get an opportunity in the industry. The difficulty level of semester exams is not very hard, and just average. 80% of students easily pass exams.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placement opportunities and very less on-campus placements.
Placements: Placement is not so good. On campus, approximately 20-30 % of students are placed. Only mechanical and electrical branch companies came. Very few and very minimum salary offering companies came and there is a lack of placement companies for its branches.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and building is a very old model, there is no new or modern infrastructure. Also, there is a lack of new Infrastructure. The mechanical and electrical building's infrastructure is very poor, but the mechatronics and other branch buildings are good.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good, supportive, and very helpful in nature. The exams are good, and scoring is not as easy as compared to other colleges. Teachers are educated, but their teaching skills are very basic, they only teach you to score well in college exams.
Other: Campus and crowd life is boring. There are no fests organized by faculty members or the college, but there are some fests organized by students combinedly.

Faculty was good, infrastructure was okay not to good and not too bad, and facilities were fine.
Placements: Approximately 50% of the students were placed. Companies like Reliance Industries, Larsen & Toubro, Prism Cement, Volvo Eicher, Corizo, and Intellipaat were the recruiting companies this year. No students got an internship from the college. The highest number of students recruited were in L&T, i.e. 16-17 students just from the Mech branch. The highest package was offered by Reliance Industries, i.e. 7.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: I was a day scholar, so I don't know much about the hostels, but the infrastructure of the college was okay— not so much modern type but old-featured, especially the mechanical department— but it was clean. The college campus is huge, spanning more than 200 acres. Wi-Fi was there, but not so good; the network was weak in the mechanical department. The library was used; there are lots of books, but there were few copies of each book; it was always first come, first serve.
Faculty: Teachers were always helpful and kind, knowledgeable, highly qualified, and their teaching quality was good. The semester exams were always tougher than the other exams, such as RGPV University exams. There were always difficult numericals in the examinations, entirely different from the other universities’ exams, so don't expect that you will pass the exam just by studying the night before.
Other: I was always interested in the mechanical subject, that's why I chose this course. There was a yearly fest named AVAHAN. The college is very old, so you'll have a very good connection in the industry, and almost everywhere you will find the alumni and seniors everywhere in the industry and well as different sectors.

Review of Jec Jabalpur engineering college.
Placements: Approximately 70 to 80 percent of students get placements in Jabalpur Engineering College. The average package of our college is 5 LPA. Many companies visit our college to give placements for the students of the college, like TCS, WIPRO, and some non-tech companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of Jabalpur Engineering College is very good with lots of gardens full of greenery everywhere. Classrooms and the library are fully maintained with good furniture. The hostel campus is very big. There are 8 blocks in our hostel where students live.
Faculty: Faculty and teachers are very helpful and well-qualified, knowledgeable with high teaching experience. Course and other curriculum activities are highly managed to provide good facilities for the students. Exams are difficult but not that much hard to pass.
Other: Jabalpur Engineering College is one of the best engineering colleges with respect to money. This college is affordable for pocket-friendly families. There are many types of events organized by the students of this college.

Yes, of course.
If you have sufficient marks in JEE, then by the inter college level counseling you can switch your branch but in other branch seats should be empty. Otherwise in second year you can also change branch as well as college. You have to get good result more then or equal to the 8 point

Industrial engineering is a good branch but the thing that matters is what interests you the most.
If you want to do engineering then you can get admission in top colleges like IPU and JEC. If you don’t like the branch then you can change it in the inter level college counselling.
