It's worth to join, really good infrastructure and facilities .
Placements: The highest package was 60 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA. The average is 10 LPA. Companies like Wipro and TCS recruit here; students also get placed at Google and Microsoft and get internships. Students get jobs as software developers, data analysts, and many other roles.
Infrastructure: The labs are good. Classrooms need more care. The library has good books. The quality of food in the hostel is good. Sports and games are very popular here; everybody participates. The Wi-Fi facility is good here. The mess and canteen are very neat and clean.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified enough. They are very knowledgeable. The course curriculum is good enough to get opportunities in the technical field. It makes students industry-ready. Seniors also help a lot with our career perspectives. Semester exams are not that tough; you'll pass simply without any complications.
Other: The campus is very beautiful; you'll love it. The connection between seniors and juniors is unbreakable. You'll get a lot of scholarship opportunities here. There's a lot of scope for extracurricular activities.

All you need to know about JGEC.
Placements: Previous year almost 100% students got placed with the highest package being 63 lacs per annum. A student from CSE department got that package. Top recruiting company was TCS. The internship opportunities are available but the students need to have the required skills to grab the internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not that good. There are some smart classrooms. The classrooms have ACs, projectors etc. There is a wi-fi facility available in the college but that is only for the staff and the professors. The students don't have access to Wi-Fi. Hostel facility is mediocre.
Faculty: The faculty members are good. They have completed their degrees from renowned colleges. The college doesn’t give enough time to complete the semesters, that is why the syllabus is not taught well. The semester exams seem difficult as the students have no choice but to study on their own.

'One of the best college'.
Placements: The seniors are very well placed by the college. Top companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, TCS, etc., offer job opportunities. The highest package on campus is 40 LPA and off-campus is 62 LPA. The average package is 10 LPA. The percentage of students placed is around 95%.
Infrastructure: Hostels are more than enough. There is free Wi-Fi. College classrooms are good. Every faculty member is helpful anytime for any kind of information they help us. Hostel foods are really good, but they provide only 2 meals a day. Rest of the time, there are many canteens available.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and very helpful. They are truly the best teachers and help to prepare good engineers. Semester exams are quite tough if you don't study. However, if you study regularly, there should be no issue in passing the exams. The pass percentage is around 40%.
Other: Actually, I like to study Computer Science, that's why I chose it when I got a chance in the college.

Placements: In our college, almost 98% of students got placed in our course, and 100% of students got placed overall. The highest package offered is 40-60 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 9-10 LPA. Next year, the highest package is 60 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, etc.
Infrastructure: In our college, good facilities are provided. We have advanced labs, a library, good classrooms, and Wi-Fi connections. In the hostel, there are good quality rooms with attached bathrooms, reliable water service, electricity, and also free Wi-Fi connection. The food served in the hostel is very good.

Placements: Almost 99% of students got placed in our course. Almost 100% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 44 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 7 LPA - 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Wipro, etc. Almost 70% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. Labs are not good. The library is average. It has many important books. Classrooms are good. The food served in the hostel and canteen is good. Wi-Fi facility is available in the hostel.
Faculty: Many teachers are helpful and well-experienced. The teaching quality is good. Exams are difficult.
Other: The best aspect of our college is its campus, which is the second-largest in the country after IIT Kharagpur. Our campus is eco-friendly, which makes it a pleasant place to study and spend time in. We have two annual fests at our college. Jeclet and Sristi are well-known singers who perform during the fests. Several scholarships are available for students, such as the college scholarship and alumni scholarship. They can help ease the financial burden. Our college includes many cultural and educational clubs.

You can get the JGEC in round 1 as of 2022 the overall cutoff for WBJEE is 1784 - 4412 rank for CSE.

It's impossible to get with your OBC B rank. I don't think they have OBC B category in CSE. So please check this year's seat matrix well before filling up (You'll find it in one of the WBJEE sites).
But you might still keep it as an option, so that you don't miss the college if you have a chance.

Yes, you'll get government engineering college, but I am not sure, if you will get Kalyani Government Engineering College and Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College. Try for other government engineering college for sure.
