It has a decent infrastructure with pretty good placements for tier 3 colleges.

Placements: The percentage of students who get placed in my course as of now is about 40-50%. The highest package offered by a company is 27 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.8 LPA. The average package is 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Juspay, Capgemini, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Deloitte, Accenture, etc. About 10 students got internship offers from campus placements in companies like Juspay, Accenture, and Schneider Electric. Roles offered in my course are power system engineer, maintenance engineer, and control system engineer.

Infrastructure: It has poor and decent infrastructure. It has state-of-the-art classrooms, labs, etc. Library resources are great. Wi-Fi is available but the speed and connectivity are questionable. Hostel facilities are decent but they could have been better. Mess food is okay, but some days they are good. Most days the food is repetitive, but healthy and hygienic. The canteen just provides the basic lunch and no special options are available. Medical facilities are non-existent practically. Sports facilities are decent with a decent playground and equipment for indoor and outdoor games. A gym is also available but it is poorly maintained.

Faculty: Teachers are great, helpful, well-qualified and extremely approachable. Anytime we needed any help then they are always available for us. The course curriculum is decent and it covers the basics but could have been a bit more industry-focused. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is decent too.

Other: I chose B.Teach in EE because I always had a fascination for circuitry. Events and fests are organised. People just are not engaging enough and even the crowd in fests doesn't seem successful enough.

JISCE is one of the best colleges in Eastern India.

Placements: Placements are good, but every year mechanical students are getting more jobs than other streams. Don't know about the highest salary but the lowest salary starts from Rs. 15,000 from outside the West Bengal. Last time, in 2022, most of the students got placed in IT companies.

Infrastructure: The college provides free Wi-Fi (35MB), departmental labs are not so good, and all sorts of books are available in libraries, but the librarian is rude. Sports are conducted every year. Classrooms are always neat and clean. Food served in the canteen is very costly. It's better to eat outside the campus. The food qualities are also not so special.

Faculty: The teachers are very good. Some are highly qualified and have great knowledge about the subjects. They are very friendly with the students. They give their best to their students. The student-faculty ratio is 70:1. Teachers always try to explain with good examples.

The college is good from some sides and also bad from a few sides.

Placements: Till now 30% of students already placed. Our companies are like Wipro, conzigant. There are also many other companies like Bajaj, TCS, and many stream companies like electrical, IT, and many other stream-based companies. In my course, the roles of junior engineers are placed.

Infrastructure: There are a total of 10 buildings on this college campus and also 1 temple. There is also an eco-friendly pathway where u meet with nature. Wi-Fi is also available on this campus. Our college has flipped learning classes which is a unique idea from the university.

Faculty: Our teachers and faculty members are very helpful, qualified, and very much knowledgeable. They help us in many doubts from our sides. They also told us how the industry will work and what things are useful in the industry and what not. The semester exams are more much difficult and the passing percentage is 35%.

We just love our college .

Placements: JISCE provides the best placements for students, and they also provide the best placement guide. When the whole world was suffering from the Covid-19 pandemic, our college provided the best placements in MNCs like Cognizant and many others for students. Overall, 90% of the students got placed in lockdown.

Infrastructure: JISCE provides the best facilities and infrastructure. Our college library provides a book-bank facility, internet facility, e-book and many others. Our college campus is enabled with a high-speed internet facility. The hostel environment is eco-friendly. Our canteen provides the best food. Our college arranges many sports tournaments and many other things.

Faculty: In our college, all faculty members are well-educated and friendly. All teachers did Masters, and many teachers also completed Ph.D. degree. The teaching quality is the best. They provide training and internships for students to gain industrial knowledge.

Other: Our college has many clubs like Science club, dance club, environment club, etc. These clubs provide a chance to explore your knowledge. Many scholarships are also available here, and a lot of things done in our college.
