KNC - Where academics meet opportunity.
Placements: The highest package goes around 7 LPA-8 LPA. Mostly B.Com and Economics students got placement, but other courses also have higher placement opportunities. Political Science students' internships are mostly in policy-making, like think tanks, Niti Aayog, and public administrative roles.
Infrastructure: The college has computer labs, a canteen, a medical room with the availability of a doctor, and Wi-Fi facilities all over the college. Classes are smart rooms and have a large seating capacity in the library. The college doesn't have a hostel or a mess. But it has a great canteen with good quality food at a reasonable rate.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is very relevant, and it makes the students ready for policy-making and other administrative work. Semester exams are of a moderate to hard level. The exams are a total of 160 marks in the core subject and have vac, sec, and ge also. Written exams are of 90 marks, with 70 marks of IA and CA.

Overall, it is a great college with average facilities.
Placements: As a member of the Placement Cell, I can definitely provide some real insights. All kinds of companies offer placements and internships as well. In the year 2024-25, EY, KPMG, Deloitte, BCG, De Shaw, PwC, Zomato, ICICI Bank, and many more visit the campus. A great number of students get placed in big companies 2-3 in PwC, 7-8 in KPMG, 6-7 in EY, 7-10 in Deloitte, etc. Packages are around 3 to 8 LPA, with De Shaw offering up to 24 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi honestly doesn’t work in our college except in the library. Labs are great. Classrooms are also not that bad, there are a good number of big classrooms, however, there exist few which are very small. The library has three floors and is pretty good. The canteen and Nescafe are great.
Faculty: The semester exams aren’t that difficult. Teachers are extremely helpful except for a few. They are actually interested and passionate about teaching. There is not a lot of pressure for deadlines. They are very accommodative and understanding. Some of them are really sweet.
Other: The fest at our college is amazing. Ullas 25 is hands down one of the top DU fests this year. The crowd is very great.

An honest review of Kamala Nehru College.
Placements: Our college has a placement cell, Prospicio, which helps you in getting placements. It also organizes many events in which so many companies participate, so by participating in them, you can get internship opportunities as well. The placements are also good from our college. The average package is 4.4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure facilities are pretty good. Our college has a big auditorium and a big library where you can get whatever book you want. The classrooms are in good condition, a new seminar room and an old seminar room. We also have a big playground and a chaupal, where students sit or play. There is one big canteen and a small café-type canteen. The food is delicious, but the prices are high for some of the food. Medical facilities are also available in our college. The only thing I don't like about my college is that when you enter the college, your phone's network will be lost.
Faculty: The course and curriculum are relevant. Some of professors are really good, they guide us whenever and wherever we need guidance. They also teach us very well, they are knowledgeable and highly qualified. while there are some who don’t pay attention to teaching. Semester exams are not that difficult, you will pass if you have studied the syllabus.
Other: I choose this course because it helps in my future career. Many events are organized by the societies in our college. The campus crowd is good, and you can connect with many people by joining the societies. Our campus is full of greenery. Our college has many societies, so it conducts many events, ensuring that you do not lag behind in extracurricular activities. Our college also provides scholarships if you fulfill the criteria. Our annual fest name is ULLAS, which is very vibrant. Apart from that, there is also a departmental fest.

Review: Kamala Nehru college .
Placements: I'm pursuing political science honors from Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi. This course usually doesn't provide placement opportunities and mostly the students of this department have plans either for competitive exams or academic fields or may be for higher studies from abroad.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is not that good. Sometimes we face shortage of rooms for our class. Apart from this, the library is quite big, consisting of a wide range of books, novels, journals, etc. Classrooms are good and spacious, and Wi-Fi connectivity is also well. This college do not provide any hostel facility so you have to look for PG or any flat.
Faculty: Teachers are quite knowledgeable and well qualified in their field. They have completed their Ph.D. and M.Phil. Political Science is a theory paper so it does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not too tough; if you have studied well and revised it, you can definitely score good marks. Passing percentage is 30%.

Exploring the campus of Kamla Nehru College.
Placements: The college, as such, does not provide any placement opportunities but the placement cell of the college provides internships on a pretty regular basis for all the courses and all the years. The top roles that students get from my course are UPSC jobs by securing good ranks.
Infrastructure: The college does provide Wi-Fi and the classrooms also have projectors installed in them. The library is big, consisting of 3 floors and a large amount of books are available for the students. Resources include e-resources. The ground at our college is also pretty big.
Faculty: The teachers at our college are very dedicated to teaching and they all teach properly and are also very supportive of the students. The course is very relevant for students who want to give UPSC or government exams. The exams are moderately easy to pass, too.
Other: I chose this course I liked political science as a subject a lot. I love this course because this is my area of interest and for someone who is interested in politics. The annual fest is very good too.
