A decent college with good teachers and infrastructure. But it lacks transparency in placements.

Placements: The placement scenario at the institution is a mixed bag. While the college claims to have students placed, the lack of transparency in disclosing the packages is a major concern. This opaqueness raises concern about the authenticity of the placement claims.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent. I am a day scholar, so I do not know about the hostel infrastructure. The library is big, covering two floors. Classrooms are equipped with air conditioners and projectors. Medical facilities are also good, and there are many sports you can choose to play like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, carrom, chess, etc.

Faculty: From 2025, KIT has become autonomous, so the curriculum has been shortened according to the needs, and unnecessary subjects like Chemistry have been removed. Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable about recent trends, and their teaching style is good. The semester exams are easy for those who regularly attend college and study properly. Otherwise, they will be difficult. The passing percentage is 40%.

Other: I chose electronics because I want to learn about graphics and microchips. The thing I would wish for my course to improve is that there should be more practical knowledge rather than just theory lessons. Regular fests are organized. Scholarships are also present. The thing I would like to say is that there is not much exposure compared to other private colleges. The crowd and campus life are also average.

Absolutely satisfied.

Placements: Usually startup companies prefer hiring on an average package of 3-4 LPA. It is based on your academic excellence. Not for those who invest their money and expect \a good package in return. This is your last or a good option rather than searching in a big metropolitan city and investing 7-8 LPA for B.Tech.

Infrastructure: The college hostel and environment are good. Labs, the library, and classrooms are good. But according to the fee structure of the hostel, the mess food is not good. I live in a PG near college. Medical facilities are good. For sports, our college provides cricket, volleyball, basketball, and badminton. There are indoor games also.

Faculty: Professors are quite supportive in my branch. They don't push you only towards study. Last year we visited IIT Kanpur on an educational visit. It is the 1st autonomous institute in Kanpur. The course curriculum is designed beautifully. You only need to study maths and physics at your core.

Other: A Fresher party named Udhbhav is conducted every year. There is a tech fest named Engenious.

Overall it is an outstanding college.

Placements: Our college had a good environment for placements. They prepare students well for placement by practice class of group discussion. Approximately 64% of the candidates got placed in top companies like Wipro, Capgemini, CINIF and more.

Infrastructure: Our college provides the best facilities and infrastructure. We have facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and air conditioned library. There was a good environment to study in. The quality of food served in the mess was good and on time. Medical facilities were available, and ambulance service was also provided. Game and sports were held from time to time.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college were very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quantity is best ever and very helpful. The course curriculum is completed on time by the faculty members. More practical classes were arranged. The curriculum was relevant.

Other: The surroundings of the campus were good.

I am highly satisfied with this college as it provided me with a bright future.

Placements: I am from 2013 pass out batch. In our batch, there were 120 students, and all were well-placed in various multinational companies. Many students from our batch got placed in government sectors and remaining in the good private sector. In electronics and communication branch, there were many internship programs.

Infrastructure: Our college was air-conditioned, and Wi-Fi enabled. It has the best classrooms and amazing library facilities. They also provided the best hostel, and sports and extracurricular activities were also awesome.

Faculty: Teachers here were very helpful. Even they start from basics and then go for advance levels of teaching. Teaching quality and way of teaching were great. I was the topper, and I have analysed all advance level problems was solved within minutes by our faculty members. The course curriculum was relevant. Our college faculty members were well-qualified and mostly from IITs and NITs. They have the best communication skills as well as supporting behaviour.

Other: I have selected electronics and communication engineering branch because I was interested in the electronics industry. The best part of this branch is that we can move in any specialisation in engineering. It offers government as well as multinational companies for jobs. There were lots of technical and cultural events, and I actively participated in all the events.

Satisfied because of good faculty and good infrastructure. Placements are average.

Placements: The average salary package offered was around 3 LPA. Around 75% of students got placed. Companies like TCS ad many more visited the campus for recruitment. Reliance Communication also offered jobs for the students. Roles offered were not very good. However, you could get good knowledge and experience by working in companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was very good. The number of classrooms and labs were sufficient. The quality of classrooms and labs was good. Hostels rooms were well maintained and the size of the rooms was also good. Varieties of food items were available in canteen, and the quality of the food served was also very good. The sports ground is also available on the campus, and you can play many sports on the campus.

Faculty: Some faculty members in our college were highly knowledgeable. Their method of teaching was also good. Some faculty members were from IITs. The course curriculum used in KIT was also well maintained, and it was useful in the future. You can also get a chance for industry exposure. They conduct industry visits from time to time.

Other: Many events like cultural fest, sports fest, etc., are conducted in KIT Kanpur. Campus life is good. Connectivity is good and you can get transportation service in front of our college. Scholarships are also available as per government rules.
