College is evolving. Much more to come.

Placements: In my college 10 percent of students got placed from my batch. The highest package is 21 LPA and the lowest is 5 LPA. Deshaw and Lek are top recruiters. Others are ZS and Accenture. Finance roles are top roles that are offered. Internships are also offered in Deshaw and Accenture.

Infrastructure: Everything is perfect. College is renovation. With time it will get the number 1 infrastructure. At present Wi-Fi connectivity is not that good. Classrooms also do not have air conditioning. The library is good. Canteen is very good. Sports and NCC are also renowned.

Faculty: All the teachers are very qualified and very helpful. The coursework is not very practical. Every teacher has earned a doctorate in their field of study. They always guide students for the future. Semester exams are not that difficult. 90 percent are able to pass them.

Other: Amazing fests and good campus.

It has a bad campus and infrastructure.

Placements: 7 out of 70 students are only placed here, even after statistics being considered as one of the top courses. The highest package offered is 24 LPA in the college, but very few students got placements. The top recruiting company for our course is ICICI Bank, but I don't know exactly. 25 percent of students get internships. The data analyst role is offered to students.

Infrastructure: Only classrooms are available. Labs are also a classroom, and nothing new in that. We have a good Computer lab, but that only fits 50 students at a time at maximum, and it's working only because a lot of students are consistently absent. I don't live in a hostel, so I don't know anything about it.

Faculty: I think that semester 1 teachers are average for students who reach them. Probably, they gave everyone good attendance, even though that's not true. I don't have an exact idea, but the NEP has helped the course a bit, and things coming in the course are industry-relevant. Exams are not at all an ideal medium.

The placements are a bit above average but satisfactory overall, while the faculty isn't the best.

Placements: A few people secured good jobs, while most had to settle for low-paying and growing jobs. The average roles were for analysts, which do not pay much and are quite exhausting for a person with a fresher job. The S-tier companies were very few, and no new companies were added.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not at all good and up to date. The fans are slow, there are no ACs in most classes, and the chairs and tables are uncomfortable. The buildings are not properly painted, and there is no good canteen. The washrooms are rarely clean.

Faculty: Teachers not at all supportive and not the best at teaching either. Teachers are not the best, whether it comes to being lenient, supportive, or overall understanding. They don't give marks properly. They are mostly biased towards attendance freaks and are very mean and rude at times.

Other: The crowd and campus life, however, are the best parts, and it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Satisfied because of the amazing campus, faculty, and really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: In our course, around 60-70% of the interested students were successfully placed, while several others opted for higher studies or competitive exams. The highest package offered was approximately 12-13 LPA, with the average package ranging around 6-7 LPA and the lowest around 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Brain & Company, ZS Associate, EXL Analytics, EY, Deloitte, and TresVista, offering roles like Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Associate Consultant, and Research Intern. Around 75-80% of students from our course also secured internships in reputed organizations such as MoSPI and NITI Aayog.

Infrastructure: The statistics department at Kirori Mal College offers well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, and access to a rich central library. Hostel facilities are decent with basic amenities; mess food is average, and the campus has medical, sports, and recreation facilities.

Faculty: Professors are well-qualified, helpful, and ensure conceptual clarity. The curriculum is relevant and builds a strong foundation, though more industry exposure is needed. Exams are moderately tough, but the pass percentage is high, usually above 90%.

Pretty campus, amazing faculty, great opportunities, and facilities.

Placements: Apart from students pursuing Masters, the majority of students get placed during campus placements. Companies like Accenture, DE Shaw, WTW, etc., visit for campus placements and hire for roles including actuarial analyst, data scientist, financial analyst, data analyst, etc. These companies also offer internship opportunities in these fields with a chance to convert into PPO. The average package offered in my course is 8–9 LPA, whereas the highest package placed till now is 23 LPA.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is well developed with air-conditioned labs. Some classrooms, however, are small and create chaos. Wi-Fi facility is also available. The library is recently well renovated with reading room facilities for students. There is a wide variety of meals available in the canteen. However, the quality of food can be improved. The college has a huge sports ground and gym facilities to encourage fitness among students.

Faculty: Faculty is highly qualified and experienced. They are very supportive and always ready to assist students with academic as well as personal challenges. The core curriculum is relevant and has practical applications. However, with the introduction of NEP, additional subjects like AEC, GE, and SEC are often irrelevant and add extra burden. End-semester exams are pretty straightforward and easy to pass.

Other: KMC is one of the top colleges with an NIRF ranking of 9. I chose this course in this college due to its versatility and application across various sectors. Faculty here is very helpful and knowledgeable. Apart from academics, there are a lot of societies and sports that allow students to explore their passions and talents outside the classroom.

Placements: Placements are decent. If you do well in the initial 2 years, you’ll eventually land one. Consulting and finance niche roles come but are limited. Business Development roles are some of the maximum ones. The average package you can expect is 8 LPA, with good firms paying over 12 LPA. LEK, DE Shaw, to name a few, but they take only a limited number of people (4-5).

Infrastructure: Modest, in some areas it needs good infrastructure. Computer labs are well-equipped. Classes need good benches and proper blackboards. The building needs renovation, which they are working upon. Improvements are being made, but at the same time, infrastructure issues do exist.

Faculty: Faculty is quite experienced, hovering from 25+ to 35+ years of experience. The curriculum can be better, but that is for the whole DU, not Kirori Mal specific. Exams are fine, no complaints on that. However, internal marking can be very difficult sometimes.

Placements: Around 60% of students in my batch have been placed. The highest package was 23.05 LPA, the lowest package was 7.5 LPA, and the average package of approximately 13 LPA. The college average is around 7-8 LPA. Top recruitment firms are D. E. Shaw, L. E. K Consulting, Accenture, etc. Many classmates secured internships with reputable organizations, including EY, GAIL, Accenture, Cars24, etc. For the roles of Data Science Intern, research intern, data analyst intern, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is sufficient and good. There are facilities like Wi-Fi, computer labs, a library, and a hostel, but only for boys. The quality of the hostel is quite well, and the food quality is also good. A canteen is available on campus. Sports infrastructure is good, and a lot of sports events occur very often.

Faculty: Teachers are very good and helpful. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. A few are average, but many of them are highly intelligent and very supportive of students. The curriculum of the course is good compared to other courses, as we learn more practical skills like data analysis, statistical analysis, etc. The semester exams are moderate, and the passing percentage is very good. Except for a few students, everyone clears their exams.

Other: I chose this college because of its brand name, as it is situated on the north campus of Delhi University. The college provides a very good college life and experiences, and my course is very good and more relevant to the job industry. Most of the things are good with my course. However, they can increase more practical parts in the course. KMC organizes its annual fest, Renaissance, and apart from that, numerous events and fests are held at the college throughout the year by different departments and societies of the college.

Placements: Hello readers, my name is Gurdeep Singh Sodhi, and I have been admitted to B.Sc. (H) Statistics at Kirori Mal College. I have recently completed my semester exams. Some students have secured placements in companies such as HDFC as data analysts and in various startups as data scientists. Individuals pursuing courses like B.Com., Economics, and Statistics generally have a higher probability of getting placements, but success ultimately depends on your skills. The placement process is straightforward. The college has a placement cell, and you need to fill out a Google form and complete the required formalities. Subsequently, you may have to go through multiple rounds of interviews, depending on the company's HR policies. Societies like Enactus, E-Neur, and TRT offer opportunities for contributing to solutions for various social and economic issues.
