No, you cannot become a lawyer without a Law degree. You mandatorily need to obtain degrees such as BA/BCom/BSc/BBA LLB or LLB in order to be a lawyer in India. To become a lawyer, one must first complete three-year or five-year LLB from a recognised university and possess degree certificate. Then, they must enrol themselves in local Bar Council of the concerned state and enrolled as an advocate. Within two years of the enrolment, they must appear and clear AIBE in order to be eligible to practise anywhere in India.

Candidate passed with mentioned aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC in the Master's Degree (2 year or 4 semester Master’s Degree after a 3 year Bachelor’s Degree ) or equivalent in the relevant subject are eligible to apply.
Candidate who has completed 1-year/2-semester master's degree in M.Sc. or MS (with Biotechnology or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Industrial Microbiology or Genetics or Molecular Biology or Bioinformatics or Genetic Engineering or Botany or Zoology or Toxicology or other relevant branches of Life Sciences) or equivalent with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree is also eligible.
If an institute has conversion factor of 9.5 then CGPA of 7.5 will not result in 75% marks and hence such a candidate will not be eligible.A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC or ST or OBC (non-creamy layer) or Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.
Candidates completed 4-years/8-semesters graduation/bachelor's degree with 75% aggregate marks from any recognized institute/university are eligible to apply. If an institute has conversion factor of 9.5 then CGPA of 7.5 will not result in 75% marks and hence such a candidate will not be eligible.
