A lifetime experience at LIT.
Placements: We had a 120 students in our batch. Out of which 90 percent cleared the final semester. All of them got placed according to their preferences. We also got internships and interviews from many departments of our course.
Infrastructure: The college had a great environment for students. An abundance of resources for learning and growth. There were computer labs and engineering labs for each department. This helps to improve skills. We had regular intervals for playtime. There we could participate in sports.
Faculty: Highly educated staff were present throughout the time. They helped to clear all doubts within the sessions. Private advice was given, and there was no partiality, even for non-performing students. They arranged interviews and helped with campus training and improvement.

Placements: Placements are good, and students get the opportunity to join companies. Faculty members help students gain knowledge and get placed in good companies for their growth.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good, neat, and tidy for students who come from far away. The classroom infrastructure is good and has a natural view. The environment is natural, and the view is nice..
Faculty: Faculty members are friendly and guide us to focus on our careers by helping us learn extra skills. Extracurricular activities are conducted in a good manner at our college. The faculty members choose good courses to help the students gain knowledge.
Other: I have chosen B.E. Mechanical Engineering to better grow my future and practically expand my knowledge. The environment is good and neat.

Candidate who have passed HSC i.e., 10+2 in any one of the Vocational Subject (Basic Mechanical Engineering/ Basic Electrical Engineering/ Basic Electronics Engineering/ Basic Civil Engineering/ Basic Automobile Engineering/ Textile Technology) with any one of the Engineering related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with above mentioned minimum average percentage put together are also eligible to apply.

Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognized institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.
