Good placements, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed in the mechanical course. Mahindra, Titan and other top companies recruit students in the mechanical course. Almost 100% of students got internships from mechanical. Mechanical students are offered the top roles.
Infrastructure: The library, labs and classroom are awesome. Wi-Fi is not available in the college. Hostel facilities are good. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is good. Medical facilities are very good. Immediate treatment is provided if a student gets injured.
Faculty: The teachers in our course are very good and understanding. Teachers are awesome. They maintain a good relationship with the students. The teaching quality easy to understand, and practical classes are very easy to understand. So, it becomes easy for us to prepare for exams.
Other: Mechanical is the top course of our college.

Helpful and Friendly staffs.
Placements: This college has good infrastructure, good staffs and Management, 60% of the students placed in top companies in Chennai. The highest salary offered was 45000 and the lowest 15000 INR. Recruiting companies are TVS, Mahendra etc., 80% of the students got internship from our course in TVS, Ford, Renult etc.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure. Department blocks are separate for each course. Wi-Fi is not provided in our college and mobile phones not allowed in our college. Highlights of our library is peaceful with huge space. Hostel facility is awesome. Food is Worth for the money.
Faculty: Helpful and Friendly staffs. All the staffs are qualified and knowledgeable, Teaching quality is good. Curriculum is relevant for the students and makes them Industry ready.

I am disappointed with this college.
Placements: About 30% of students in our course got placed. The highest salary offered is 3 lacs per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. A top recruiting company of our course is Infosys. A top role offered to the students is a trainee. The highest salary package offered in our course is 36 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. About 50% of the students from our course got an internship in companies like ICF.
Infrastructure: Every facility is available here, but the usage of mobile is prohibited. The infrastructure of our hostel is the worst. Food served is not worth for fee and not acceptable. There is no TV and no water after 8 am, which is hard to be here. The hostel is located 18 kilometres apart from college.
Faculty: Some teachers are extremely helpful, but some doesn't know what the subject was. Some staff members are pursuing PhD and doctorate because they can easily get a vacation here. The course curriculum is not relevant.
Other: I have chosen this course because of movies, in Tamil GVM movies every hero will be a mechanical engineer. I wish the college should make the students get ready for industry. Events and fests are not organised at our college.

Meenakshi College of Engineering provides good placement, very good facilities, and I learned a lot.
Placements: For campus interviews, students of all courses should score a minimum of 65% of marks in their academics. Companies which visited here are good, and the average salary offered is between Rs. 15,000 to 20,000 per month. In our college, it’s a very good opportunity for students to attend interviews for good companies. In campus, it is very easy to get selected. Overall, it is a very good college.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure and a lot of facilities for our convenience. In the mechanical engineering branch, lots of machines and instruments are available for practicals, and they conduct a lot of gaming. Quality and quantity of food facilities are good. The hostel is convenient to stay, and students are feeling safety.
Faculty: Faculty members of our department are good, very helpful and supportive for all students. Our faculty members teaching is excellent, and students can easily develop their knowledge. Students would like to listen to the class and, most of the students are able to clear exams.
Other: My parent suggested it, so I preferred the mechanical engineering course.

The quality of education here is average.
Placements: Students who clear all the exams get placed in this college. The packages offered here range between Rs.10k-18k. Wipro, TVS, and JBM are a few top recruiting companies. Students from all the categories are placed.
Infrastructure: The facilities are average and there's no availability of Wi-Fi. The hostel facilities are average too and the facilities available are less. The infrastructure is not value for money and no or fewer opportunities for sports are there as compared to other colleges. The canteen is not worth it and the quality of food is not good. No medical facilities are available on campus. Since the campus is situated in the center of the city everything is available outside the campus.
Faculty: The teachers are educated, well qualified, and helpful. Their teaching quality is average. 36% is the minimum percentage required to pass a semester. Semester exams are conducted by Anna University.

    The hostel mess is spacious with a dining hall and kitchen where the students are offered a choice of vegetarian and non- vegetarian food. Girls hostels have their own mess. To entertain the students television is also kept in the dining hall for their relaxation. As tenders changes frequently so it is difficult to state about the mess food. But I have talked to some of the students of MCE - Meenakshi College of Engineering and they have told me that the food is edible (it is not too good, but okay as compared to other colleges). As I am also a student, I also think that the food served in mess cannot be very good, but it is good enough that you can eat it and won't get ill. It is also true that some students gets satisfied with the mess food while others may don't like it.
