Kind of satisfied but there are some lacking also.
Placements: Mine is mechanical engineering, I'm currently studying the course not been completed yet. The placements are okay but not satisfactory as I went through the previous year's placements charts. Only a few percent of students got placed through campus placement.
Infrastructure: The facilities are excellent; the classrooms and labs are great and offer more interactive sessions. The food quality is good, and I’ve never been disappointed. Library experience was fantastic; it features a spacious, air-conditioned environment with a reading hall and a wide variety of books.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified and skilled in their professions. Sometimes there are language barriers or differences in slang. Exams are conducted under strict supervision, and penalties are imposed on those who attempt malpractice during exams.

Placements: My batch has some amazing students experienced and knowledgeable in many fields. Our batch has 60 students, and yet we are in the first year. The top recruiting companies are Mahindra, Hyundai, Ford, Tata, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Bajaj, and L&T. These are some of the top companies recruiting in mechanical.
Infrastructure: Labs are nice. Wi-Fi is 24/7. Classrooms do not have AC in some classes; otherwise, we have touchscreen whiteboards. Our library is one of the biggest libraries in SRM. The hostel is good; we have a proper biometric gate for boys. In-time is 9 pm, and for girls, it is 6:30 pm. But mess food is not good. They usually serve good food at the start of the first-year session, but after some time, the food quality degrades.
Faculty: Teachers are very experienced and knowledgeable, and the curriculum is relevant. We have a proper mechanical lab, which has every type of machine to make us industry-standard ready. The semester exams are a little tough, and the pass percentage is 75%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to do a master's in any field I wanted to in the future. I think they take [us] lightly in our mechanical department. Every month, there are like 4-5 events going on. Worship is going on every time, organizing different fests for different departments.

Good infrastructure and atmosphere. It is value for money.
Placements: Almost 85% of the students who opted for placements are placed. The highest Package is 12 LPA and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. Foxconn, Caterpillar, Yamaha, etc. are the recruiters. Top roles include Quality engineer, Production manager, manufacturing, etc.
Infrastructure: The atmosphere and infrastructure are really good. The hostel had air-conditioned classrooms, highly equipped lab facilities, a Hi-Tech library, Wi-Fi on college premises, etc. The food was also good, including non-vegetarian food, twice a week, both Wednesdays and Sundays. Hospital and sports kits are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are quite friendly and respectful. Co-curriculum is also relevant. Semester exams are not that tough to meet. Scoring in internals will help you in semester exams. 50% is the passing mark. Exams are quite normal and there is no need to worry about them, as we can study easily.

Yes, it's an excellent college.
Placements: Of the 68% of students who got placed in this course, the highest salary package offered is 9 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The top recruiting company is Mahindra Lam Research, and 55% of students got internships at the top companies. The top roles offered were tool engineer, mechanical engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: There are separate blocks for every branch and lab for practical knowledge, and the whole campus is equipped with WiFi, labs and classes. There is nice food offered in the mess, and the medical facilities are also excellent. There is access to the Wi-Fi connection.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely helpful and they are excellent. They know a lot, and they communicate with great understanding while teaching us students so we can ask questions in class. Or we can go to them directly so that, with solid information, we can write out the test easily.

Placements: 1. In B.Tech. mechanical, about 75–80% of students were placed.
2. The highest pack for mech is INR 25 lpa, and the lowest is INR 5 lpa.
3. Honda, Amazon, Turbo, and Hero are the top recruiting companies.
4. 90% of students got internship training.
5. Senior design engineer, manufacturing engineer, and automation engineer are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for mechanical engineering will be good. There are four blocks for mechanical engineering alone, separate labs, and Wi-Fi in every classroom is available. Hostel:- There are separate hostels for the first year, the second year, and the third year. Breakfast is given from 7-9, lunch is from 11:30–1:30, snacks are from 4-5:30, and dinner is from 7:30–9:30. The canteen is located near the hostel and will be open until 9:30 p.m. at night. Medical facilities:-
There is no doctor charge for SRM students at SRM Hospital; only medicine charges will apply. Ambulances will be available 24/7. Sports:-
There are 2 grounds, and we can play any sport we want. If you need sports equipment, the hostel management will provide that; you just need to show your ID card, and you can get it.
Faculty: 1. Teachers will be very helpful for students. The teachers will do some research for their studies, and you can join them. Only Ph.D. holders will be appointed. The teaching quality will be good, and they will teach on a smart board.
2. Yes, the course curriculum will be relevant to the industry; it will be taught practically.
3. Semester exams are not very difficult to pass. You need to score 50% as an internal and the remaining 50% in the semester.
Other: I am interested in car engines, so I chose mechanical engineering. The best thing about mechanical engineering is that we need to do it as a group; there is no need to sit in the same place, and you will work with engines, machines, turbines, etc. In my course, we need more hands-on practice than is provided. Events at SRM will be awesome. At the start of the semester, there will be regular events. And we can enjoy more. Many technical and non-technical events will be organized. So campus life at SRM will be unpredictable but fun.

SRM makes students well resourced.
Placements: 90 percent of our batch got good placement of more than INR 10 Lacs and 10 percent are those who got internship with the companies like BMW, Maruti and Mahindra. The top companies which hire students from our batch are TCS, Mahindra and Tata motors. Around 70 to 80 % of students get good internships with a package of INR 30 to 40k for 3 to 6 month.
Infrastructure: In Srm, we have very good facility, our lecture rooms are in different buildings with labs full of equipments used by all the students. There are many sports and medical facilities given by the college. You can easily avail all the facilities in the srm hostel at a low cost.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and have great knowledge regarding their subjects. Srm didn't just teach you about theory but also practical to make the students ready for their future. The semester exam is well designed to test your practical and book knowledge without any type of MS calculation. The passing percentage is about 33 percent of the total marks and it's precise so that the teachers know about each and every student's weakness.
Other: In SRM, we didn't only focus on the studies but also we have so many extracurricular activities to make the students life happy and well considered.

I had a mixed experience. A little bit salty and a little bit sweet.
Placements: In my batch approximately 60% got placed with an average salary of 8 to 10 Lacs. Rest of the left the campus unemployed. Majority of them are working as call centre operators. Top recruiting company was Infosys. One student named Rahul sharma got a package of 22 Lacs.
Infrastructure: Hostel is very amazing and comfortable. Wi-Fi speed is approximately 3 Mbps. Food is good. Generally in the canteen they provide south Indian food. Sports complex is there also. You can enjoy your Evening there. But I used to spend my time in my room. Because I was a studious kind of guy.
Faculty: Faculty are subject experts. They helped me in my projects and Internships. Course curriculum Was a little bit lagging in terms of industrial prerequisite. Semester exams during my period was tough. Now a days they are a little bit moderate. Now a days the college has advanced a lot.
Other: I chose the course because I love making cars.

Placements: The placements in my college are good enough for a fresher as they provide placement in well renowned companies with a good package ranging from 7-15 Lacs per annum apart from that internships are provided to every student and the stipends are decided according to the skillset .
Infrastructure: The college is having a very good infrastructure studded with greenery all around there is Wi-Fi service available throughout the campus and library can be accessed through e-cards only provided to each and every student and faculty members apart from that the food served in mess is pretty good and hygienic .
Faculty: The course curriculum is well structured and it makes us ready for the industrial quest the teachers are Ph.D. holders are scholars from recognised institutes with ample of experience hence it is a good learning experience also mechanical expo visits are frequently conducted by the authorities .

I don't know about SRM but as an alumni of LPU. LPU is the better choice to pursue your engineering. LPU does provide B.Tech in Mechanical.
