It is a decent private college.
Placements: In computer Science courses, about 60 percent of students get placed. The average package offered is around 12 LPA. The highest package offered is 50 LPA by Microsoft. The lowest package offered is 6 LPA. Getting internships at the end of the 3rd year is hard, and only 20 percent of students get them. The top role offered is SDE. This year, Eli Lilly is the top recruiter, and they hired almost 50 students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and academic facilities are pretty good. Some hostel blocks are new, and those are pretty good. The old ones aren't that good. Sports facilities are under renovation, but they are pretty crowded and expensive. Medical facilities are almost free at KMC.
Faculty: Many teachers are awful. They don't have subject knowledge or do not know how to teach. The course curriculum is being improved every year. They remove non-CSE subjects and add more CSE-related subjects. Semester exams are made harder every year, but passing is still easy. At least 80 percent of students pass in most subjects.
Other: Scholarships are very hard to get, and they offer only 20 percent of fees. Fests have fallen off, and they used to be much better before.

Get to know a better side of MIT.
Placements: Placement percentage is nearly 80-85% every year. Talking about the 2025 placement, the highest package was around 60 LPA. The average package is around 13-15 LPA. Median package is around 12 LPA. As of 2025, top recruiters include NVIDIA, Palo Alto, Goldman Sachs, Tesla, Microsoft, and Amazon. The internship environment is good. Around 85-90% students get internships, and many get them converted to full-time employment. Top roles include software engineer, DevOps Engineer, Data scientist, System Analyst, and this year showed a rise in ML engineers.
Infrastructure: The whole campus is Wi-Fi connected (but it works a bit slowly sometimes outside the academic block), a very good centralized library with different varieties of books, along with book and online PYQ facilities. Smart classrooms with a recording system so that students can rewatch it. Well, computing & research facilities. Also, a whole building dedicated to student projects (Manas, Formula). Separate hostel for boys and girls with Wi-Fi support ( even though a bit slow sometimes) and both AC and non-AC options. Mess and canteen food are good. KMC plus student clinic is available. MARENA and MIT grounds for sports, games, and gym.
Faculty: Faculty are highly qualified. Some are excellent. Some are okay & few are not so good. But this is common in any college. Teaching quality overall 3.5/5. Modern industry-aligned curriculum, but still some subjects have no relevance & their applications are not much included. Opportunity to take electives & use NPTEL/Coursera for credit transfers. Internals are of 20 marks, mid-semester 30 marks, & end-semester 50 marks. Generally, the pass percent is 35-40% ( but a minimum of 18 in the end-semester). Exams are moderate level, focusing on checking both theory and numericals.
Other: I wouldn't say the best or the worst college. There's nothing so special or bad about teaching or curriculum, but the research, exposure, project, creativity, and hands-on project environment are superb. The student projects and clubs are really good here. Campus life is awesome. Each nearby is best. Festivals are also good. Overall, it's a good college to join, guys.

About Manipal Institute of Technology, MAHE.
Placements: Manipal is the number 1 private university hence the placements are also very good at it. More than 90% of my batch students get placed in different companies. Placements start from the 6th semester of the college. Good companies like Microsoft, Deloitte, Amazon, etc., visit the college for placements.
Infrastructure: Facilities at the hotel are very well-maintained and very well-planned. Wardens are appointed to manage the discipline at the hostel indoors. For accommodation, we have to pay 2 lakhs per year including food and mess charges. Overall, it is a good place.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good and experienced. They help us with very different aspects of advancing our knowledge about subjects. Exams are conducted on E-pad and not on paper. It will be a very good experience for students and courses are also very well-planned.
Other: Manipal is a place where students from many states come, so we will experience a mixed culture and languages that are spoken. The campus life is very amazing for freshers.

MAHE Bengaluru has good facilities but it could have better clubs and resources.
Placements: The highest salary package offered to the batch that will be passing out this year, i.e., 2025 is 35 LPA. MAHE Bengaluru has also got a new placement director in place who will solely focus on improving the placement statistics of the college.
Infrastructure: Labs at our campus are fine but not the best. There is an incessant Wi-Fi issue in the lab and too many technical issues at times while accessing any application like code blocks, eclipse, etc.
Faculty: Semester exams are usually medium to tough. I found the computational mathematics mid-semester exams easy but the end-semester exams are equally tough. Other subjects are pretty balanced. The PPS questions are good and require a good level of logical thinking. So far the course curriculum sounds good. Teachers are very supportive and help in navigating.

Manipal has a great college life and a study balance.
Placements: The placement team is quite good, and as second-year students, we are provided with great opportunities, whether it be internships or hackathons. The average salary package offered in placements is 12 LPA, and the average salary package offered for CSE is 16 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 53 LPA. Many big companies like the FAANG companies visit our college to hire students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is some of the best. Hostels are amazing, with great comfort and space. Most hostels get renovated quite frequently, so the hefty charge is around 1.5 lakhs per room. There are rooms with attached and common bathrooms. Classrooms are also great, with a seating capacity of 60 persons. There are air-conditioners in every class and great computers in the lab.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-versed in the subjects they teach. Subjects are very relevant to real-life needs, and we are taught multiple different coding languages also. Exams happen twice a semester, like mid-semester and end-semester, with the assignment having a 20% weightage.

The review of Manipal Institute of Technology
Placements: Good number of students were placed in my course, 90 percent of the students were placed, and the average package was around 13 LPA, with the median around 13.4 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Microsoft, Amazon, Uber, and there were mass recruiting companies like TCS and Infosys.
Infrastructure: The quality of food in the mess is good, but sometimes you find some insects in the food (this happened with two of my friends). The Wi-Fi is not much reliable, the max downloading speed is 15 Mbps. The classrooms are really nice, they are fully air-conditioned.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful. Some teachers teach well, but some are just really bad at teaching. They have the knowledge of the subject but don't know how to teach. They changed the course curriculum this year for the students, and so far it's good. If you start studying a week before the mid-sems, you can expect good grades.
Other: There are many events which are conducted throughout the year.

An in-depth into the MIT college from the perspective of a student.
Placements: The placements in the recent years have just rose rapidly , with more than 90 % placements this year. The average package of a student has also rose from 10 LPA to nearly 13 LPA this year. Companies like Microsoft and Infosys are some of the top reputed companies that come to MIT . The CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella, is a MIT Manipal student. The average package for the top 50 offers is more than 26 LPA. The highest package this year was more than 55 LPA.
Infrastructure: The class comprises of 80 students . First year, all CSE stream students are mixed and taught the same subjects . This is done so that they can later change their branch in second year. The first year is divided into two cycles: the Chemistry cycle and the Physics cycle. The first semester is the chemistry cycle and the second semester is the physics cycle; both semesters have some subjects the same , but some subjects exclusive to that semester. The hostels in MIT are one of the best in the country. I am a local, but I would have loved to have been in MIT's hostel . There are many canteens , with no canteen being not good.
Faculty: Teachers are great here , with almost every single one having a PhD. The exam is conducted on an iPad, which is a great medium. There is no need to carry any sort of pen or anything to the exam hall. You will have no problems completing your exams faster than if you wrote it on paper. The teacher do their best jobs with their subjects. All the material is sent online , thus you would not require to buy any extra books.

Review of Manipal University.
Placements: Almost 95 to 97 percent of students are placed in all courses, especially computer science students. The highest salary will be 50 LPA, the lowest salary will be 6 to 7 LPA, and the average is 10 to 12 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Infosys, and others recruit employees with high salaries.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good; it's awesome. Labs and classrooms are brand new. We have i7 computers here. The hostel is excellent; we have brand new facilities here. Rooms are quite good and very peaceful, and washrooms are quite clean. Wi-Fi is very good, and the mess and canteen are also good.
Faculty: The curriculum and atmosphere are stress-free and very good. Semester exams are conducted twice, as mid-exams and semester exams. The faculty are very friendly and helpful. The exam toughness will be as tough as IITs. The passing percentage will be 30 to 40 percent.
Other: It's absolutely worth the money. The campus will be less crowded and very clean and neat. Events and festivals will be held twice a semester.

The cutoff changes every year. It depends on the merit list and the total number of students has appeared for the examination. So I can't tell you the rank but your score is good enough to get into Jaipur branch . And I guess you have very minutes chances with your desired branches Best of luck

Manipal is around 790 kms from Andhra Pradesh. This distance can be covered in around 17 hours by bus. Most of the students from Andhra Pradesh usually travel by bus to Manipal. Hope, I have cleared your doubt.
