B.Tech. in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering - Batch of 2022
4.2
It provides good placements and infrastructure.
Placements: Around 50% of students got placed. Almost 50% of students got internships in my course. Top recruiting companies were Emerson and many IT companies like TCL, Wipro, HCL, etc. In my batch, many of them were placed in these companies. Maximum 50% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and Wi-Fi facilities were not available in my college. Library and lab room were available. Canteen food and snacks were good. Medical facilities were available. Sports, games, and special events were also held. About hostel, I am not aware of it.
Faculty: Teaching quality was best. The passing percentage was 80%. Semester exams were difficult. I got industrial visits 2 or 3 like pneumatic and some of the workshops like ethical hacking in the Viki company.
Other: This is my favourite course because of this course I chose this college. One more reason is that this is only one college located in city.

The college has average infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 60% of students get placed every year in core and IT companies. The average package offered in our college is 4 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are TCS and Wipro. 75% of students got internships in our institution.
Infrastructure: There are very few facilities in this college compared to other colleges like deemed or autonomous colleges. The labs don't have working air-conditioners, and there are no fans. Fans in classrooms don't work properly. Water facilities are poor in washrooms.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, but they are not knowledgeable. The course is curriculum relevant. It may make students industry-ready based on their preparation of projects and marks in their examinations. Semester exams are harder than expected.
Other: My family forced me to choose this course.

Review of MCE - Meenakshi College of Engineering.
Placements: Most of them are not placed. But some got placed in good companies with high packages. Only IT companies are available. Few core companies also come here. Students got internships very easily. But students got placed in off-campus interviews.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good but are of old model. Computer labs are not up to the mark. The playground is not available. The canteen is not up to the mark. Moreover, there is a lack of fund management, providing less funds for kits and sports items.
Faculty: The faculty members in our college are well-trained. They help us understand easily and quickly. Passing the exams is easy for us. But sometimes, it's more difficult in odd semesters. Practicals are really hard with the lack of instruments and facilities. Practical labs are in poor condition.
Other: There is a lack of extracurricular activities. There is no celebration for any occasions. There is no sports event as there is a lack of fund.

The college is good but can make even better.
Placements: Only IT companies come to all the departments. The students are not allowed to attend the placements. There is no special training for the placements. Four years of EIE department candidates are given opportunity in it, even not in their core department. The students who attended and got selected in the previous interviews are allowed to attend the next interview, which affects the opportunity for the others.
Infrastructure: When I was in the college, it was a 3-floor building, after completing, it was a 5-floor building. The B.Arch department floor will be good. The toilet facility is good on the campus. The building is too small compared to the other colleges. Every college got one block for one department but Meenakshi students, there is one floor for one department.
Faculty: The faculty members are friendly. The core-related professors are a few on the campus. The staff knowledge will be only in the books/ Compared to the other colleges, our college is the best. Most of the staff members in my department are friendly and knowledgeable. One visiting professor Mr Mani works in my college, who is knowledgeable will get a job for all.

The highest package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 12000 65percent of students got internship in SIDVIN Outotec. Instrumentation engineer.
Infrastructure: Our department provides well-equipped laboratories, library, playground, internet access, college canteen, workshops and seminars, research facilities, cultural centers along with knowledgeable lab assistants and departmental staff available for career guidance and academic support.
Faculty: Our teachers are friendly, well-qualified, and Ph.D. holders. The quality of teaching is very understandable and provides proper explanations of career guidance. Yes, our course curriculum is highly relevant and prepares us to be competent in the industry.

Review of MCE - Meenakshi College of Engineering
Placements: We were around 29 students in total. The highest salary offered was Rs. 35,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15.000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 20,000- Rs. 25,000 per month. Infosys, TCS, and CTS are coming to our colleges. Around 75% of the students got placed in college, and about 10% of the students did their internships in Honeywell, TCS, and CPCL. Almost 9% pursued higher studies while 1% had arrears.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities provided were excellent and hostel food was top-notch. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods were offered for all three meals. It was tasty and healthy, and all the hostel rooms were air-conditioned and bathrooms were clean. I would recommend everyone to join the hostel.
Faculty: The course curriculum was good and easy. Question papers were a lot easier than you think. Almost all of us got passed worth a good GPA. Every staff was helpful during examinations. No one was allowed to copy and it was increasing the competition. We had the best classes, the best invigilators, and a good environment.
