Outstanding campus life and infrastructure.
Placements: The placements at Meenakshi College of Engineering were overall good. About 70-80% students from my department were placed. Top recruiting companies like Samsung, HCL, Tata and others have recruited with an average package of 7 LPA. The contribution of placement cell in training and providing mock interviews was very helpful.
Infrastructure: The campus is very spacious and well-maintained, and is provided with campus Wi-Fi. Especially, the library is well stocked with relevant journals, and the classrooms are spacious, along with smart boards provided. The Overall infrastructure is good and satisfactory, providing a peaceful and conducive learning environment.
Faculty: Teachers or staff were qualified and helpful in many educational perspectives, like providing notes and guiding students. The course curriculum is relevant, and the students are industry-ready. Overall pass percentage is decent. The college comes under Anna University affiliation.

Overall, I am satisfied with the infrastructure and placements.
Placements: I am currently in the 2nd year ECE (2024-2028). Around 88% - 95% of our senior students are placed through the campus drives. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, and the average package offered varies from 3 LPA to 5 LPA. Top companies like Zoho and Accenture recruit from our college. Top roles like developer and testing engineer are offered. Really, the placement cell is working well, and they are upgrading the placement opportunities. Definitely, in my final year, I will be placed in top companies like Samsung and HCL.
Infrastructure: Our department has well-equipped laboratories and a smart classroom with projectors and Wi-Fi facilities. Canteen is available, and hygienic and quality food is provided. ANR hall is also there, where college events are often held. There is a digital library also. So overall, personally, I have a good opinion on the college infrastructure as it is well maintained, sustainable and is eco-friendly.
Faculty: Faculty members in our department are qualified and supportive. Most of the professors have good subject knowledge and are ready to teach even after class hours if we have any doubts. The semester exams are moderate in difficulty. Students who attend class regularly can score good marks. The overall pass percentage is around 85-90%.

College has well maintained infrastructure and placement.
Placements: I am currently in the 2nd year-ECE batch. Around 75 to 80% of my seniors are placed during campus recruitment drives. The average package of our courses is 12 LPA. TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant are our top recruiters. 60% of students got internships. Really, the college placement cell is working well.
Infrastructure: Our department has well-maintained infrastructure that supports effective learning. Classrooms are spacious, well-equipped with modern equipment, and updated to provide practical knowledge. The hostel facilities are satisfactory with clean rooms, proper ventilation, and basic amenities like water supply. Security is maintained inside the hostel premises.
Faculty: Teachers in our department are well-qualified and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. The course curriculum is relevant and follows the university guidelines. The semester exams are moderately difficult. Students must attend classes regularly and prepare well to clear the exams without much difficulty.

Many students are targeted by the faculties, and the college is not taking further actions.
Placements: In my course, only 5 percent of the students get placed. The highest package is 8 LPA, the average is 5 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. NPTEL and Microsoft are the top recruiting companies. Around 20 percent of the students get internships in TVS and software companies. Interns or a new colleague are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: The facilities are usual, similar to other colleges. Mostly the same staff handle all 4 years, there are only a few staff working in the college. Wi-Fi is very slow in the computer labs. The library’s infrastructure is very good. Sports activities are only for 1st-year students, remaining students are not allowed to access the ground or play there.
Faculty: Some teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, but 70 percent of the teachers are not helpful because they are not fluent in teaching and are not clear about the syllabus topics. Semester exams occur every single month, and the pass percentage is 80 percent because of the unqualified staff.
Other: It would be better if the college hires good and new teachers and stops ragging. Ragging is not done by the students but by the staff, students get tortured.

The college is improving, and the infrastructure is well-maintained.
Placements: Placements only depend on students, and students who score above 85% in academics only get placed. Students can only get placed if they have a high percentage. In our course, the average package ranges from 3.5-8 LPA. The lowest package ranges from 2.5-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies of the ECE course are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, TCL, HCL, HP, Emerson, and Cognizant.
Infrastructure: Hostels are very good. From the second year, we get 2 sharing rooms in hostels with attached bathrooms. The food is also good. The canteen and stationery shop are present near the college. There is also a bank. Sports and games are developing in all fields.
Faculty: Teachers try their best to make us understand the topics. The quality of teaching is medium. Semester exams are conducted by Anna University every year. It is a non-autonomous college. Exams are conducted on the day when Anna University releases the date. The pass percentage is above average.
Other: Events and fests are getting improved from this year onwards. This year, this college is certified with an NAAC A+ grade. Sports and events are not there, but this year, it is improving and conducting events.

Placements: 9.0 to 8.0 percent of students are placed. The highest salary is 10 lakhs, and the lowest is 2 lakhs. Awasoft, Zoho, and School HCL are the companies where our college students get placed. They also get paid internships for 2 years with a certificate. We all get good support from our college.
Infrastructure: The library is very nice, well-designed, and organized. The labs are well-organized with lab assistants. We all get free Wi-Fi on our campus. In the canteen, we get all kinds of food, and all are tasty. In the classrooms, we have lots of facilities like fans, lights, and smartboards. We have gyms and fitness rooms to get well-trained.
Faculty: Teaching is good and effective. All the faculty members are well-experienced. They are relevant, and I’d say 80 percent of students pass. The semester exams are quite easy if you study very well. The curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready.
Other: This course is very interesting and inspires me, which is why I chose this course.

Our college has a good budget for learning but not for good infrastructure.
Placements: Our batch has 72 students. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Citizen, and some local companies visit our campus. Our college is best suited for studying architecture.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is just one building. Hostel facilities are not good. The food they offer is not of good quality.
Faculty: Our faculty members are good. If you show interest, they will help you. Most of them have completed their Ph.D. You don't need to be concerned about scoring well in exams. They conduct unit tests and a modal exam. There are no other exams.
Other: In our college dress code, you should wear black shoes and for girls, they should wear churidar with pined shawls. Leggings are not allowed. For boys, only formals are allowed.

I am absolutely satisfied with this college.
Placements: Placements aren't great, but top recruiting firms don't come to this college very often. The highest salary package offered at this college is around 5 LPA to 8 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA to 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel and the canteen are not good. Students who have stayed in the hostel are complaining that the food is not tasty, the water supply is not proper, and it is not maintained properly by the management.
Faculty: Teachers here are great because they are very supportive and friendly. They make us feel at home. They are well qualified and knowledgeable to teach us and make us understand the concept very well.
