B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2026

An average college. Strict rules with average placement. Staffs are good.
Placements: 60-75% of students got placed in jobs. The lowest is 2.5 LPA, and the highest will be 9 LPA or 10 LPA. Recruiting companies are Wipro, CTS, Kaar Technologies, etc. Internships are not offered in companies, and we pay for them. No core companies are coming for campus placement in our college. Only software-related jobs are available.
Infrastructure: Labs, library, ground, and canteen are available. Qualities of hostel and mess food are very poor. Quality of food in the canteen for day scholars is somewhat average. Medical facilities are good. We have PT for sports. Hostel students always complain about the hostel infrastructure and the quality of food.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Some are rude. The course does not make a student industry-ready. Pass percentage is 45% and its moderately difficult. The teaching quality is quite good here. Only thing is they ask too much money for everything.

Our college gives an enjoyable college life.
Placements: Around 97% of students get placed in our college. Placement officers encourage students to perform well in their job interviews and help them throughout the process. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA and the lowest salary package is 2 LPA. The recruiting companies are CTS and Infosys. Around 45% of students get internships. The role offered is a software engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are available with all the facilities. It has a big library. The quality of the food served in the hostel is not good. The canteen is a good place to have fun with friends.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and well-educated. The course curriculum is relevant.
Other: I chose this course to become a good engineer.

Well satisfied with the placements and coaching but little bit disappointed in facilities.
Placements: 75% of the students in our current batch 2016-2020 got placed. The highest salary offered by the company Amazon which is 20L/annum and the lowest salary offered by the company VEE technologies is 3L/annum. The top recruiters are CTS, Infosys, Zoho, Amazon, Wipro, HCL, Avasoft.
Infrastructure: The labs and classrooms are very clean and neat. All the labs for our course are air-conditioned and the equipments are in very good condition and the service for the equipments are done regularly. Our library is well maintained and contains all sorts of books and unfortunately, we don't have Wi-Fi but we have 100Mbps internet connection in all our labs and all students and teachers can use the labs at anytime between 8.30 am to 4.30 pm. The hostel facilities are not bad that much. It's affordable and good for the money which we pay. Our college doctor is available 24 hours and always helpful. And sports kind of extracurricular activities are organised very well by our college.
Faculty: Yes, our teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good and they are doing different teaching methods. And the course curriculum is relevant and it makes us industry ready. We, students, are made both technically and practically strong and it trains students to get placed in core companies.
Other: I got fascinated about gadgets in my 12th grade and to know more and develop my knowledge and skills in that platform I choose this course and also without software, hardware cannot be placed and this course will provide us opportunities in both core and software companies.

A good college with respect to ROI and exposure.
Placements: Out of 400 students, 280 students were placed in Accenture, and 120 students were placed in Cognizant. Infosys had recruited only ten students. Above three companies were tier one companies and remaining students got selected in tier 2 companies like Tech Mahindra.
Infrastructure: Since our college is located in Chennai city, the college is small but it has all the necessary labs and classrooms. We have 3 buildings, in which, one is for the 1st-year students and the second one is for mechanical and civil departments. The remaining building is for the other departments. We have our own sports ground in college.
Faculty: Our college is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, and it follows the syllabus provided by them. We had eight semesters in total, and there were 2 semesters per year. We had good faculty members, and all the faculty members were friendly. We have 10% as internal marks, and the remaining 90% is based on final exams conducted by Anna University board.
Other: Every department had conducted their inter college symposium. We also had various seminars from industry experts. Our college had a tie-up with Lions club and organised events like blood donation.

A place where you can find the treasure of moments.
Placements: Our batch was the most successful batch regarding placements because of the newly appointed placement officer. About 99% of the students got placed in CTS, Accenture, Infosys, Verizon, Sutherland, Smart Academy and many other companies. We were trained by T.I.M.E, Smart Academy.
Infrastructure: There is nothing much to say about infrastructure. It is an old building which is ready to collapse at any time. There was renovation work going on during our final year. An additional floor was added to the existing 3-storeyed building. The campus is small, but academics-wise, it is good. We have poor lab facilities.
Faculty: The depth of knowledge depends on the staff. Students have to study on their own during the final exam. Our staff is extremely intelligent. If the students are lucky enough, then they'll get the same as their teachers. If not, students have to suffer.

MSEC, the best college to learn and enjoy your college life for sure.
Placements: The placement is the best of all in the college. Even though the student count is very less, say 500-600, they will try to place the maximum number of people in the on-campus. I loved it. All the best service line companies will come in on-campus. Pre-Placement training was good.
Infrastructure: The college has an average infrastructure setup, needs to improve a lot. But still, it feels like a heaven to be in that college. I would love to stay in my hostel room again even though it's not going to happen (fiction thought as always), still the best we could ever ask for. But, all the stuff which you will get in the college who claims to get the average amount from a student.
Faculty: The faculty are so good and friendly as always. The course curriculum is same as the Anna University structure as this college comes under the Anna University (affiliated to that). The labs are good to enough to learn apart from the infrastructure setup. Some people (staff) are really intelligent, and the core knowledge they have on the subject is remarkable.

Satisfied as it has good faculty, decent infrastructure, good placements, and a decent college life.
Placements: The placements were good with each student bagging two to three placements. All the students surely get placed, given the rigorous placement training offered by the college. The highest salary was offered by Mu Sigma. Companies like Sutherland, Accenture, Just Dial, etc. visited.
Infrastructure: The basic infrastructure needs are fulfilled by the college. The labs are pretty decent. However, Wi-Fi facility is not available for the students. The classrooms are large and airy. Average food quality in the canteen. They have a good library stocked with all the necessary books. There is also an internet center where you can download ebooks if they are not available.
Faculty: They follow Anna University's course curriculum for ECE. Knowledgeable faculty members who help a lot. Friendly yet strict staff. They give a lot of importance to discipline and timely record submission. They offer rigorous training in the form of tests so that it is easier to score in the university exams.

Other: The college is located in the middle of the city so the college does not provide transport facility. Infrastructure is not so good but the staff is very friendly. For placements, they put their 100% effort for placing students but we did not get core companies for civil and mechanical through campus placements. Hostel and the food for hostel students is not good. It is a good college for day scholars.
