Excellent infrastructure, supportive faculty, and strong placement opportunities at Miranda House.
Placements: A few days ago, I gave my 3rd-year exams, and they went very well. I study at Miranda House College. Placements do come, but the main thing is that it is necessary to have some skills; otherwise, placements will happen, but the salary package will be less. That's why choosing a skill and a good course is the most important thing to get a good salary package, and the economics subject is much better because placements for economics students are more likely to happen in North Campus colleges, and if you are skilled, then companies will hire you.
Infrastructure: The facilities at Miranda College are really good. The Wi-Fi always works, but there was a bit of an issue in the canteen; otherwise, the Wi-Fi is good in the college. Drinking water is also good. Hygiene is well-maintained. Classrooms are also clean and good, and some classrooms have AC.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to every child and pay full attention to their studies. Facilities are also provided for the exams. They also keep the AC on in the summer, and drinking water is also kept outside. The teachers' way of teaching is very different. They use ticks to explain, like reading, and other techniques, etc. You get to know so much from the teachers.
Other: I was interested in political science, and I wanted to do policy analysis; that's why I chose political science. Miranda's fests are popular, and Miranda provides all activities and fun games to its students and also focuses more on studies.

Really good infrastructure .
Placements: There is no such big placement chain here, but yes, you do get a lot of opportunities. Many small and big companies give the opportunity to hire freshmen from college, irrespective of your course. You have to be attentive; you will land in a good place.
Infrastructure: Miranda being Nirf 1/2 has undoubtedly one of the best infrastructures among all the colleges of Delhi University. If you get admission here, you can without any hesitation come here. Hostel rooms are really spacious, neat, and clean. Mess is also okay. This college has proper aesthetics.
Faculty: The faculty here is top-notch. Teachers are so helpful; they are like friends to their students and help them out in any kind of situation. They listen to your questions and also answer their questions really nicely. For my course, which is political science major and history minor, I would say the curriculum is satisfactory to the subject, and a lot of practical knowledge is also given.

It has the best infrastructure in all of DU.
Placements: The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA - 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA - 4 LPA. To receive offers from various companies, it is necessary to complete several internship programs during college to gain experience and practical field knowledge, as companies seek these qualities. Top roles offered in my course include becoming professors or joining ministries and in the private sector, roles may involve handling finance, logistics, or social media.
Infrastructure: Our college is considered to have the best infrastructure among Delhi University colleges. It has buildings from the old British era, which look great. Classrooms are good but do not have air conditioning. A major issue in the college is Wi-Fi. Some areas have a faculty Wi-Fi connection, but it never works and network quality is very low. College library is so amazing that you would be impressed by its beauty and design. But, it also lacks air conditioning, making it difficult for students to sit there and concentrate on their studies. College canteen is very affordable with low prices that can be afforded by everyone. Various medical facilities are available in our college. Two nurses are always present in the hostel. We have a sports room, basketball court, tennis court, volleyball court, and even throwball court. Food quality in the mess is excellent and very healthy.
Faculty: All teachers at Miranda House are well-qualified if they are teaching here. But, not all of them are helpful or cater to our needs. I find many of my teachers to be rude and sometimes unbearable. As a newcomer, this has been a significant problem, as many of the female teachers are quite arrogant. Though course curriculum is relevant, it can be very stressful at times. Semester exams are not too difficult if students have paid attention in class or even if they study on their own. The pass percentage is approximately 37%. To be eligible to sit for exams, students need a minimum of 67%.
Other: I chose this course because I am a UPSC aspirant and this course best suits my interests. Best part of my course is that I have learned many new things from my batchmates. Events held in our college are very enjoyable. A lot of extracurricular activities are organised regularly in our college. We have many societies to join be a part of them.

Helpful and impressive faculty members are there.
Placements: Placement procedure is good having pre-placements talk to understand that company well. Top companies that offered placement in 2024 are Urban company, Barclay's, ICICI bank, and Nation with Namo for roles like Research analyst, HR manager, Operation manager, Marketing manager, Creative manager, etc.
Infrastructure: Though I am not a hosteler, but my friends are, so on behalf of them, I can say our college hostel is really good for food quality, the flexible timings as per your availability, good hygienic and tasty food, and nutritious too. Medical facilities are also so good. For sports and games, college-level and department-level competition takes place and we do have games like football, basketball, tennis court, badminton court, and aerobics and yoga daily activities also there. Certificate-based games and sports are also there that welcome all students to participate.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified in there disciplines and knowledgeable as well. The teaching style is so unique and the curriculum is so best as well. Classes happen regularly but with flexibility on mass interest is also there and teacher-student interactions are best; teachers are always helpful too. Semester exams are not way too much but yes, it can be easy if you are a student who follows up on things with daily classes and teacher lectures in order to get good marks.
Other: I did choose this course because of the multidisciplinary nature of this course, as DU is now offering many additional papers as well, along with your discipline, like value additional courses, skill enhancement courses, general electives and languages, and compulsory environment studies. These offer us a good understanding of many disciplines.

Miranda remained NIRF1 for 7 consecutive years for a reason, as it brings out the best of you.
Placements: Being a fresher, the internship opportunities for my batch are limited as the admission procedure is still ongoing. There is a unit labelled "Miranda House Placement Cell" that brings out excellent internship opportunities and enhances our learning experience. Some of them offer a stipend of up to 50k for two months.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure offers really aesthetic views and is indeed the best one in the entire north campus. There is a lot of greenery around with numerous gardens. There are 5 canteens which provide good quality food. However, classrooms as well as hostel rooms are not air-conditioned. AC facility is provided only in spaces such as the auditorium, seminar hall, etc. The library has a rich collection of books and is linked to the internet. The sports department is really disciplined, requiring regular practice and thus, offering essential equipment on time.
Faculty: The faculty is great, with tons of knowledge and good teaching methods. However, a few teachers fail to share their knowledge among students due to their low pitches and the unavailability of mics. The curriculum we read is very much relevant and we get to read various authors. The exams are the same across the entire Delhi University and offer the same level of difficulty to students.
Other: Both History and Political Science are subjects of great importance in the contemporary world, and thus, I love studying these, especially in a prestigious institution such as Miranda House. The campus crowd is diverse, including international students as well. There are students from every corner of India, keen on learning each other's cultures. There are a lot of extracurricular activities that enhance our own personalities.
